This inadvertently introduced a regression affecting PCI aliased devices behind PCIe-to-PCI bridges. Specifically, keyboard and touchpad stopped working on several Apple Macbooks with below messages: kernel: platform pxa2xx-spi.3: Adding to iommu group 20 kernel: input: Apple SPI Keyboard as /devices/pci0000:00/0000:00:1e.3/pxa2xx-spi.3/spi_master/spi2/spi-APP000D:00/input/input0 kernel: DMAR: DRHD: handling fault status reg 3 kernel: DMAR: [DMA Read NO_PASID] Request device [00:1e.3] fault addr 0xffffa000 [fault reason 0x06] PTE Read access is not set kernel: DMAR: DRHD: handling fault status reg 3 kernel: DMAR: [DMA Read NO_PASID] Request device [00:1e.3] fault addr 0xffffa000 [fault reason 0x06] PTE Read access is not set kernel: applespi spi-APP000D:00: Error writing to device: 01 0e 00 00 kernel: DMAR: DRHD: handling fault status reg 3 kernel: DMAR: [DMA Read NO_PASID] Request device [00:1e.3] fault addr 0xffffa000 [fault reason 0x06] PTE Read access is not set kernel: DMAR: DRHD: handling fault status reg 3 kernel: applespi spi-APP000D:00: Error writing to device: 01 0e 00 00 Fix this by restoring the previous context setup order.",null,[],[],[],[14],{"_key":15},"CVE-2025-38216",[],[],[],"2025-07-04T14:15:30.103Z","2026-04-28T20:29:54.405977Z",{"cisa_kev":22,"cisa_ransomware":22,"cisa_vendor":9,"epss_severity":9,"epss_score":9,"severity":9,"severity_score":9,"severity_version":9,"severity_source":9,"severity_vector":9,"severity_status":9},false,[24],{"url":25,"sources":26,"tags":28},"https://security-tracker.debian.org/tracker/CVE-2025-38216",[27],"osv_debian",[29],"Advisory",[],[],[33],{"source":27,"cvss_v2_0":9,"cvss_v3_0":9,"cvss_v3_1":34,"cvss_v4_0":9},{"baseScore":35,"baseSeverity":9,"vectorString":36,"impactScore":37,"exploitabilityScore":38},7.8,"CVSS:3.1/AV:L/AC:L/PR:L/UI:N/S:U/C:H/I:H/A:H",9.8,4.6,[40],{"ecosystem":41,"name":42,"vendor":43,"product":42,"cpe_part":9,"purl_type":44,"purl_namespace":43,"purl_name":42,"source":9,"versions":45},"Debian","linux","debian","deb",[46,52],{"version":47,"is_range":48,"range_type":49,"version_start":9,"version_start_type":9,"version_end":50,"version_end_type":51,"fixed_in":9},"lt6_12_35_1",true,"ecosystem","6.12.35-1","excluding",{"version":47,"is_range":48,"range_type":49,"version_start":9,"version_start_type":9,"version_end":50,"version_end_type":51,"fixed_in":9}]
