A local user able to open a raw packet socket (requires the\nCAP_NET_RAW capability) could use this flaw to elevate their privileges\non the system (CVE-2016-8655).\n\nA use-after-free vulnerability in the SCSI generic driver allows users\nwith write access to /dev/sg* or /dev/bsg* to elevate their privileges\n(CVE-2016-9576).\n\nLinux kernel built with the Kernel-based Virtual Machine(CONFIG_KVM)\nsupport is vulnerable to an information leakage issue. It could occur\non x86 platform, while emulating instructions in 32bit mode. A \nuser/process could use this flaw to leak host kernel memory bytes\n(CVE-2016-9756).\n\nA bug in SO_{SND|RCV}BUFFORCE setsockopt() implementation allows\nCAP_NET_ADMIN users to set negative sk_sndbuf or sk_rcvbuf values.\nA user could use this flaw to cause various memory corruptions,\ncrashes and OOM (CVE-2016-9793).\n\nA use-after-free vulnerability was found in ALSA pcm layer, which allows\nlocal users to cause a denial of service, memory corruption, or possibly\nother unspecified impact (CVE-2016-9794).\n\nOther fixes in this update:\n- fix for HID gamepad DragonRise (mga#19853)\n- fix for radeon driver crashing on Dell Precision M4800 (mga#19892)\n\nFor other upstream fixes in this update, see the referenced changelogs.\n",null,[],[],[],[14,16,18,20,22,24,26,28],{"_key":15},"CVE-2016-8399",{"_key":17},"CVE-2016-8645",{"_key":19},"CVE-2016-8650",{"_key":21},"CVE-2016-8655",{"_key":23},"CVE-2016-9576",{"_key":25},"CVE-2016-9756",{"_key":27},"CVE-2016-9793",{"_key":29},"CVE-2016-9794",[],[],[33,34,35,36,37,38,39,40],{"_key":15},{"_key":17},{"_key":19},{"_key":21},{"_key":23},{"_key":25},{"_key":27},{"_key":29},"2017-01-03T22:05:03Z","2026-04-16T06:23:07.301089986Z",{"cisa_kev":44,"cisa_ransomware":44,"cisa_vendor":9,"epss_severity":9,"epss_score":9,"severity":9,"severity_score":9,"severity_version":9,"severity_source":9,"severity_vector":9,"severity_status":9},false,[46,52,57,61,65,70,74,78,82,86,90],{"url":47,"sources":48,"tags":50},"https://advisories.mageia.org/MGASA-2017-0004.html",[49],"osv_mageia",[51],"Advisory",{"url":53,"sources":54,"tags":55},"https://bugs.mageia.org/show_bug.cgi?id=19992",[49],[56],"REPORT",{"url":58,"sources":59,"tags":60},"https://bugs.mageia.org/show_bug.cgi?id=19892",[49],[56],{"url":62,"sources":63,"tags":64},"https://bugs.mageia.org/show_bug.cgi?id=19853",[49],[56],{"url":66,"sources":67,"tags":68},"https://cdn.kernel.org/pub/linux/kernel/v4.x/ChangeLog-4.4.33",[49],[56,69],"WEB",{"url":71,"sources":72,"tags":73},"https://cdn.kernel.org/pub/linux/kernel/v4.x/ChangeLog-4.4.34",[49],[56,69],{"url":75,"sources":76,"tags":77},"https://cdn.kernel.org/pub/linux/kernel/v4.x/ChangeLog-4.4.35",[49],[56,69],{"url":79,"sources":80,"tags":81},"https://cdn.kernel.org/pub/linux/kernel/v4.x/ChangeLog-4.4.36",[49],[56,69],{"url":83,"sources":84,"tags":85},"https://cdn.kernel.org/pub/linux/kernel/v4.x/ChangeLog-4.4.37",[49],[56,69],{"url":87,"sources":88,"tags":89},"https://cdn.kernel.org/pub/linux/kernel/v4.x/ChangeLog-4.4.38",[49],[56,69],{"url":91,"sources":92,"tags":93},"https://cdn.kernel.org/pub/linux/kernel/v4.x/ChangeLog-4.4.39",[49],[56,69],[],[],[],[98],{"ecosystem":99,"name":100,"vendor":101,"product":100,"cpe_part":9,"purl_type":102,"purl_namespace":101,"purl_name":100,"source":9,"versions":103},"Mageia","kernel-tmb","mageia","rpm",[104],{"version":105,"is_range":106,"range_type":107,"version_start":9,"version_start_type":9,"version_end":108,"version_end_type":109,"fixed_in":9},"lt4_4_39_1_mga5",true,"ecosystem","4.4.39-1.mga5","excluding"]
