It enables anybody to write arbitrary data to arbitrary files,\neven if the file is O_RDONLY, immutable or on a MS_RDONLY filesystem.\nIt can be used to inject code into arbitrary processes (CVE-2022-0847).\n\nAn issue was discovered in drivers/usb/gadget/composite.c in the Linux\nkernel before 5.16.10. The USB Gadget subsystem lacks certain validation\nof interface OS descriptor requests (ones with a large array index and\nones associated with NULL function pointer retrieval). Memory corruption\nmight occur (CVE-2022-25258).\n\nAn issue was discovered in drivers/usb/gadget/function/rndis.c in the\nLinux kernel before 5.16.10. The RNDIS USB gadget lacks validation of\nthe size of the RNDIS_MSG_SET command. Attackers can obtain sensitive\ninformation from kernel memory (CVE-2022-25375).\n\nnet/netfilter/nf_dup_netdev.c in the Linux kernel 5.4 through 5.6.10\nallows local users to gain privileges because of a heap out-of-bounds\nwrite. This is related to nf_tables_offload (CVE-2022-25636).\n\nFor other upstream fixes, see the referenced changelogs.\n",null,[],[],[],[14,16,18,20],{"_key":15},"CVE-2022-0847",{"_key":17},"CVE-2022-25258",{"_key":19},"CVE-2022-25375",{"_key":21},"CVE-2022-25636",[],[],[25,26,27,28],{"_key":15},{"_key":17},{"_key":19},{"_key":21},"2022-03-07T23:10:22Z","2026-04-16T04:24:00.296620Z",{"cisa_kev":32,"cisa_ransomware":32,"cisa_vendor":9,"epss_severity":9,"epss_score":9,"severity":9,"severity_score":9,"severity_version":9,"severity_source":9,"severity_vector":9,"severity_status":9},false,[34,40,45,50],{"url":35,"sources":36,"tags":38},"https://advisories.mageia.org/MGASA-2022-0092.html",[37],"osv_mageia",[39],"Advisory",{"url":41,"sources":42,"tags":43},"https://bugs.mageia.org/show_bug.cgi?id=30131",[37],[44],"REPORT",{"url":46,"sources":47,"tags":48},"https://cdn.kernel.org/pub/linux/kernel/v5.x/ChangeLog-5.15.24",[37],[44,49],"WEB",{"url":51,"sources":52,"tags":53},"https://cdn.kernel.org/pub/linux/kernel/v5.x/ChangeLog-5.15.25",[37],[44,49],[],[],[],[58,70,76],{"ecosystem":59,"name":60,"vendor":61,"product":60,"cpe_part":9,"purl_type":62,"purl_namespace":61,"purl_name":60,"source":9,"versions":63},"Mageia","kernel","mageia","rpm",[64],{"version":65,"is_range":66,"range_type":67,"version_start":9,"version_start_type":9,"version_end":68,"version_end_type":69,"fixed_in":9},"lt5_15_25_1_mga8",true,"ecosystem","5.15.25-1.mga8","excluding",{"ecosystem":59,"name":71,"vendor":61,"product":71,"cpe_part":9,"purl_type":62,"purl_namespace":61,"purl_name":71,"source":9,"versions":72},"kmod-virtualbox",[73],{"version":74,"is_range":66,"range_type":67,"version_start":9,"version_start_type":9,"version_end":75,"version_end_type":69,"fixed_in":9},"lt6_1_32_1_7_mga8","6.1.32-1.7.mga8",{"ecosystem":59,"name":77,"vendor":61,"product":77,"cpe_part":9,"purl_type":62,"purl_namespace":61,"purl_name":77,"source":9,"versions":78},"kmod-xtables-addons",[79],{"version":80,"is_range":66,"range_type":67,"version_start":9,"version_start_type":9,"version_end":81,"version_end_type":69,"fixed_in":9},"lt3_18_1_57_mga8","3.18-1.57.mga8"]
