This flaw can overwrite parts\nof the kernel state, potentially allowing a local user to gain privileged\naccess or cause a denial of service on the system (CVE-2022-0995).\n\nA flaw use after free in the Linux kernel FUSE filesystem was found in\nthe way user triggers write(). A local user could use this flaw to get\nsome unauthorized access to some data from the FUSE filesystem and as\nresult potentially privilege escalation too (CVE-2022-1011).\n\nA flaw was found in the Linux kernel in linux/net/netfilter/nf_tables_api.c\nof the netfilter subsystem. This flaw allows a local user to cause an\nout-of-bounds write issue (CVE-2022-1015).\n\nA flaw was found in the Linux kernel in net/netfilter/nf_tables_core.c:\nnft_do_chain, which can cause a use-after-free. This issue needs to handle\n'return' with proper preconditions, as it can lead to a kernel information\nleak problem caused by a local, unprivileged attacker (CVE-2022-1016).\n\nA use-after-free flaw was found in the Linux kernel’s sound subsystem in\nthe way a user triggers concurrent calls of PCM hw_params. The hw_free\nioctls or similar race condition happens inside ALSA PCM for other ioctls.\nThis flaw allows a local user to crash or potentially escalate their\nprivileges on the system (CVE-2022-1048).\n\nst21nfca_connectivity_event_received in drivers/nfc/st21nfca/se.c has\nEVT_TRANSACTION buffer overflows because of untrusted length parameters\n(CVE-2022-26490).\n\nThere is a buffer overflow in ESP transformation in net/ipv4/esp4.c and\nnet/ipv6/esp6.c via a large message. In some configurations, local users\ncan gain privileges by overwriting kernel heap objects (CVE-2022-27666).\n\nA refcount leak bug was found in net/llc/af_llc.c (CVE-2022-28356).\n\nOther fixes in this update:\n- locking/lockdep: Avoid potential access of invalid memory in lock_class\n- mm: kfence: fix missing objcg housekeeping for SLAB\n- net: ipv6: fix skb_over_panic in __ip6_append_data\n- rtw88: Add support for Realtek 8821CE RFE Type 6\n- revert: \"swiotlb: rework 'fix info leak with DMA_FROM_DEVICE'\" as it\n breaks atleast ath9k\n\nFor other upstream fixes, see the referenced changelogs.\n",null,[],[],[],[14,16,18,20,22,24,26,28],{"_key":15},"CVE-2022-0995",{"_key":17},"CVE-2022-1011",{"_key":19},"CVE-2022-1015",{"_key":21},"CVE-2022-1016",{"_key":23},"CVE-2022-1048",{"_key":25},"CVE-2022-26490",{"_key":27},"CVE-2022-27666",{"_key":29},"CVE-2022-28356",[],[],[33,34,35,36,37,38,39,40],{"_key":15},{"_key":17},{"_key":19},{"_key":21},{"_key":23},{"_key":25},{"_key":27},{"_key":29},"2022-03-29T14:25:34Z","2026-04-16T04:23:56.657263Z",{"cisa_kev":44,"cisa_ransomware":44,"cisa_vendor":9,"epss_severity":9,"epss_score":9,"severity":9,"severity_score":9,"severity_version":9,"severity_source":9,"severity_vector":9,"severity_status":9},false,[46,52,57,62,66,70],{"url":47,"sources":48,"tags":50},"https://advisories.mageia.org/MGASA-2022-0121.html",[49],"osv_mageia",[51],"Advisory",{"url":53,"sources":54,"tags":55},"https://bugs.mageia.org/show_bug.cgi?id=30199",[49],[56],"REPORT",{"url":58,"sources":59,"tags":60},"https://cdn.kernel.org/pub/linux/kernel/v5.x/ChangeLog-5.15.29",[49],[56,61],"WEB",{"url":63,"sources":64,"tags":65},"https://cdn.kernel.org/pub/linux/kernel/v5.x/ChangeLog-5.15.30",[49],[56,61],{"url":67,"sources":68,"tags":69},"https://cdn.kernel.org/pub/linux/kernel/v5.x/ChangeLog-5.15.31",[49],[56,61],{"url":71,"sources":72,"tags":73},"https://cdn.kernel.org/pub/linux/kernel/v5.x/ChangeLog-5.15.32",[49],[56,61],[],[],[],[78,90,96],{"ecosystem":79,"name":80,"vendor":81,"product":80,"cpe_part":9,"purl_type":82,"purl_namespace":81,"purl_name":80,"source":9,"versions":83},"Mageia","kernel","mageia","rpm",[84],{"version":85,"is_range":86,"range_type":87,"version_start":9,"version_start_type":9,"version_end":88,"version_end_type":89,"fixed_in":9},"lt5_15_32_1_mga8",true,"ecosystem","5.15.32-1.mga8","excluding",{"ecosystem":79,"name":91,"vendor":81,"product":91,"cpe_part":9,"purl_type":82,"purl_namespace":81,"purl_name":91,"source":9,"versions":92},"kmod-virtualbox",[93],{"version":94,"is_range":86,"range_type":87,"version_start":9,"version_start_type":9,"version_end":95,"version_end_type":89,"fixed_in":9},"lt6_1_32_1_14_mga8","6.1.32-1.14.mga8",{"ecosystem":79,"name":97,"vendor":81,"product":97,"cpe_part":9,"purl_type":82,"purl_namespace":81,"purl_name":97,"source":9,"versions":98},"kmod-xtables-addons",[99],{"version":100,"is_range":86,"range_type":87,"version_start":9,"version_start_type":9,"version_end":101,"version_end_type":89,"fixed_in":9},"lt3_18_1_64_mga8","3.18-1.64.mga8"]
