This flaw allows a local user\nto gain unauthorized access to data (CVE-2022-2905).\n\nA race condition was found in the Linux kernel's IP framework for\ntransforming packets (XFRM subsystem) when multiple calls to\nxfrm_probe_algs occurred simultaneously. This flaw could allow a local\nattacker to potentially trigger an out-of-bounds write or leak kernel\nheap memory by performing an out-of-bounds read and copying it into a\nsocket (CVE-2022-3028).\n\nThere exists a use-after-free in io_uring in the Linux kernel.\nSignalfd_poll() and binder_poll() use a waitqueue whose lifetime is the\ncurrent task. It will send a POLLFREE notification to all waiters before\nthe queue is freed. Unfortunately, the io_uring poll doesn't handle\nPOLLFREE. This allows a use-after-free to occur if a signalfd or binder\nfd is polled with io_uring poll, and the waitqueue gets freed\n(CVE-2022-3176).\n\nAn issue was discovered in net/netfilter/nf_tables_api.c in the kernel\nbefore 5.19.6. A denial of service can occur upon binding to an already\nbound chain (CVE-2022-39190).\n\nmm/rmap.c in the Linux kernel before 5.19.7 has a use-after-free related\nto leaf anon_vma double reuse (CVE-2022-42703).\n\nOther fixes in this update:\n- A fix for an issue causing excessive logging (mga#30779) due to an\n uppstream change that was included in the 5.15.62 kernel update released\n as MGASA-2022-0305.\n- bpf, cgroup: Fix kernel BUG in purge_effective_progs\n- bpf: Restrict bpf_sys_bpf to CAP_PERFMON\n- Revert \"xhci: turn off port power in shutdown\" as it causes some systems\n to hang on shutdown.\n\nFor other upstream fixes in this update, see the referenced changelogs.\n",null,[],[],[],[14,16,18,20,22],{"_key":15},"CVE-2022-2905",{"_key":17},"CVE-2022-3028",{"_key":19},"CVE-2022-3176",{"_key":21},"CVE-2022-39190",{"_key":23},"CVE-2022-42703",[],[],[27,28,29,30,31],{"_key":15},{"_key":17},{"_key":19},{"_key":21},{"_key":23},"2022-09-10T20:26:43Z","2026-04-16T04:23:39.156542Z",{"cisa_kev":35,"cisa_ransomware":35,"cisa_vendor":9,"epss_severity":9,"epss_score":9,"severity":9,"severity_score":9,"severity_version":9,"severity_source":9,"severity_vector":9,"severity_status":9},false,[37,43,48,52,57,61],{"url":38,"sources":39,"tags":41},"https://advisories.mageia.org/MGASA-2022-0324.html",[40],"osv_mageia",[42],"Advisory",{"url":44,"sources":45,"tags":46},"https://bugs.mageia.org/show_bug.cgi?id=30813",[40],[47],"REPORT",{"url":49,"sources":50,"tags":51},"https://bugs.mageia.org/show_bug.cgi?id=30779",[40],[47],{"url":53,"sources":54,"tags":55},"https://cdn.kernel.org/pub/linux/kernel/v5.x/ChangeLog-5.15.63",[40],[47,56],"WEB",{"url":58,"sources":59,"tags":60},"https://cdn.kernel.org/pub/linux/kernel/v5.x/ChangeLog-5.15.64",[40],[47,56],{"url":62,"sources":63,"tags":64},"https://cdn.kernel.org/pub/linux/kernel/v5.x/ChangeLog-5.15.65",[40],[47,56],[],[],[],[69,81,87],{"ecosystem":70,"name":71,"vendor":72,"product":71,"cpe_part":9,"purl_type":73,"purl_namespace":72,"purl_name":71,"source":9,"versions":74},"Mageia","kernel","mageia","rpm",[75],{"version":76,"is_range":77,"range_type":78,"version_start":9,"version_start_type":9,"version_end":79,"version_end_type":80,"fixed_in":9},"lt5_15_65_1_mga8",true,"ecosystem","5.15.65-1.mga8","excluding",{"ecosystem":70,"name":82,"vendor":72,"product":82,"cpe_part":9,"purl_type":73,"purl_namespace":72,"purl_name":82,"source":9,"versions":83},"kmod-virtualbox",[84],{"version":85,"is_range":77,"range_type":78,"version_start":9,"version_start_type":9,"version_end":86,"version_end_type":80,"fixed_in":9},"lt6_1_38_1_5_mga8","6.1.38-1.5.mga8",{"ecosystem":70,"name":88,"vendor":72,"product":88,"cpe_part":9,"purl_type":73,"purl_namespace":72,"purl_name":88,"source":9,"versions":89},"kmod-xtables-addons",[90],{"version":91,"is_range":77,"range_type":78,"version_start":9,"version_start_type":9,"version_end":92,"version_end_type":80,"fixed_in":9},"lt3_21_1_5_mga8","3.21-1.5.mga8"]
