A denial of service flaw may occur\nif there is a consecutive request of the NVME_IOCTL_RESET and the\nNVME_IOCTL_SUBSYS_RESET through the device file of the driver, resulting\nin a PCIe link disconnect (CVE-2022-3169).\n\nA flaw was found in the KVM's AMD nested virtualization (SVM). A malicious\nL1 guest could purposely fail to intercept the shutdown of a cooperative\nnested guest (L2), possibly leading to a page fault and kernel panic in\nthe host (L0) (CVE-2022-3344).\n\nA vulnerability has been found in Linux Kernel function kcm_tx_work of the\nfile net/kcm/kcmsock.c of the component kcm. The manipulation leads to race\ncondition (CVE-2022-3521).\n\nAn incorrect TLB flush issue was found in the Linux kernel’s GPU i915 kernel\ndriver, potentially leading to random memory corruption or data leaks. This\nflaw could allow a local user to crash the system or escalate their\nprivileges on the system (CVE-2022-4139).\n\nA stack overflow flaw was found in the Linux kernel's SYSCTL subsystem in\nhow a user changes certain kernel parameters and variables. This flaw\nallows a local user to crash or potentially escalate their privileges on the\nsystem (CVE-2022-4378).\n\nA race condition in the x86 KVM subsystem in the Linux kernel allows guest\nOS users to cause a denial of service (host OS crash or host OS memory\ncorruption) when nested virtualisation and the TDP MMU are enabled\n(CVE-2022-45869).\n\nFor other upstream fixes in this update, see the referenced changelogs.\n",null,[],[],[],[14,16,18,20,22,24,26],{"_key":15},"CVE-2022-3169",{"_key":17},"CVE-2022-3344",{"_key":19},"CVE-2022-3521",{"_key":21},"CVE-2022-3643",{"_key":23},"CVE-2022-4139",{"_key":25},"CVE-2022-4378",{"_key":27},"CVE-2022-45869",[],[],[31,32,33,34,35,36,37],{"_key":15},{"_key":17},{"_key":19},{"_key":21},{"_key":23},{"_key":25},{"_key":27},"2022-12-17T23:55:57Z","2026-04-16T04:22:46.627711Z",{"cisa_kev":41,"cisa_ransomware":41,"cisa_vendor":9,"epss_severity":9,"epss_score":9,"severity":9,"severity_score":9,"severity_version":9,"severity_source":9,"severity_vector":9,"severity_status":9},false,[43,49,54,59,63],{"url":44,"sources":45,"tags":47},"https://advisories.mageia.org/MGASA-2022-0478.html",[46],"osv_mageia",[48],"Advisory",{"url":50,"sources":51,"tags":52},"https://bugs.mageia.org/show_bug.cgi?id=31261",[46],[53],"REPORT",{"url":55,"sources":56,"tags":57},"https://cdn.kernel.org/pub/linux/kernel/v5.x/ChangeLog-5.15.80",[46],[53,58],"WEB",{"url":60,"sources":61,"tags":62},"https://cdn.kernel.org/pub/linux/kernel/v5.x/ChangeLog-5.15.81",[46],[53,58],{"url":64,"sources":65,"tags":66},"https://cdn.kernel.org/pub/linux/kernel/v5.x/ChangeLog-5.15.82",[46],[53,58],[],[],[],[71],{"ecosystem":72,"name":73,"vendor":74,"product":73,"cpe_part":9,"purl_type":75,"purl_namespace":74,"purl_name":73,"source":9,"versions":76},"Mageia","kernel-linus","mageia","rpm",[77],{"version":78,"is_range":79,"range_type":80,"version_start":9,"version_start_type":9,"version_end":81,"version_end_type":82,"fixed_in":9},"lt5_15_82_1_mga8",true,"ecosystem","5.15.82-1.mga8","excluding"]
