A local attacker could use this to cause a denial of\nservice or possibly execute arbitrary code. (CVE-2022-25636)\n\nEnrico Barberis, Pietro Frigo, Marius Muench, Herbert Bos, and Cristiano\nGiuffrida discovered that hardware mitigations added by ARM to their\nprocessors to address Spectre-BTI were insufficient. A local attacker could\npotentially use this to expose sensitive information. (CVE-2022-23960)\n\nIt was discovered that the BPF verifier in the Linux kernel did not\nproperly restrict pointer types in certain situations. A local attacker\ncould use this to cause a denial of service (system crash) or possibly\nexecute arbitrary code. (CVE-2022-23222)\n\nMax Kellermann discovered that the Linux kernel incorrectly handled Unix\npipes. A local attacker could potentially use this to modify any file that\ncould be opened for reading. (CVE-2022-0847)\n\nYiqi Sun and Kevin Wang discovered that the cgroups implementation in the\nLinux kernel did not properly restrict access to the cgroups v1\nrelease_agent feature. A local attacker could use this to gain\nadministrative privileges. (CVE-2022-0492)\n\nWilliam Liu and Jamie Hill-Daniel discovered that the file system context\nfunctionality in the Linux kernel contained an integer underflow\nvulnerability, leading to an out-of-bounds write. A local attacker could\nuse this to cause a denial of service (system crash) or execute arbitrary\ncode. (CVE-2022-0185)\n\nEnrico Barberis, Pietro Frigo, Marius Muench, Herbert Bos, and Cristiano\nGiuffrida discovered that hardware mitigations added by Intel to their\nprocessors to address Spectre-BTI were insufficient. A local attacker could\npotentially use this to expose sensitive information. (CVE-2022-0001)\n\nJann Horn discovered a race condition in the Unix domain socket\nimplementation in the Linux kernel that could result in a read-after-free.\nA local attacker could use this to cause a denial of service (system crash)\nor possibly execute arbitrary code. (CVE-2021-4083)\n\nIt was discovered that the NFS server implementation in the Linux kernel\ncontained an out-of-bounds write vulnerability. A local attacker could use\nthis to cause a denial of service (system crash) or possibly execute\narbitrary code. (CVE-2021-4090)\n\nKirill Tkhai discovered that the XFS file system implementation in the\nLinux kernel did not calculate size correctly when pre-allocating space in\nsome situations. A local attacker could use this to expose sensitive\ninformation. (CVE-2021-4155)\n\nIt was discovered that the AMD Radeon GPU driver in the Linux kernel did\nnot properly validate writes in the debugfs file system. A privileged\nattacker could use this to cause a denial of service (system crash) or\npossibly execute arbitrary code. (CVE-2021-42327)\n\nSushma Venkatesh Reddy discovered that the Intel i915 graphics driver in\nthe Linux kernel did not perform a GPU TLB flush in some situations. A\nlocal attacker could use this to cause a denial of service or possibly\nexecute arbitrary code. (CVE-2022-0330)\n\nSamuel Page discovered that the Transparent Inter-Process Communication\n(TIPC) protocol implementation in the Linux kernel contained a stack-based\nbuffer overflow. A remote attacker could use this to cause a denial of\nservice (system crash) for systems that have a TIPC bearer configured.\n(CVE-2022-0435)\n\nIt was discovered that the KVM implementation for s390 systems in the Linux\nkernel did not properly prevent memory operations on PVM guests that were\nin non-protected mode. A local attacker could use this to obtain\nunauthorized memory write access. (CVE-2022-0516)\n\nIt was discovered that the ICMPv6 implementation in the Linux kernel did\nnot properly deallocate memory in certain situations. A remote attacker\ncould possibly use this to cause a denial of service (memory exhaustion).\n(CVE-2022-0742)\n\nIt was discovered that the VMware Virtual GPU driver in the Linux kernel\ndid not properly handle certain failure conditions, leading to a stale\nentry in the file descriptor table. A local attacker could use this to\nexpose sensitive information or possibly gain administrative privileges.\n(CVE-2022-22942)\n",null,[],[],[],[14,16,18,20,22,24,26,28,30,32,34,36,38,40,42,44,46,48,50,52,54,56,58,60,62,64,66,68,70,72,74,76],{"_key":15},"CVE-2021-4083",{"_key":17},"CVE-2021-4090",{"_key":19},"CVE-2021-4155",{"_key":21},"CVE-2021-42327",{"_key":23},"CVE-2022-0001",{"_key":25},"CVE-2022-0185",{"_key":27},"CVE-2022-0330",{"_key":29},"CVE-2022-0435",{"_key":31},"CVE-2022-0492",{"_key":33},"CVE-2022-0516",{"_key":35},"CVE-2022-0742",{"_key":37},"CVE-2022-0847",{"_key":39},"CVE-2022-22942",{"_key":41},"CVE-2022-23222",{"_key":43},"CVE-2022-23960",{"_key":45},"CVE-2022-25636",{"_key":47},"UBUNTU-CVE-2021-4083",{"_key":49},"UBUNTU-CVE-2021-4090",{"_key":51},"UBUNTU-CVE-2021-4155",{"_key":53},"UBUNTU-CVE-2021-42327",{"_key":55},"UBUNTU-CVE-2022-0001",{"_key":57},"UBUNTU-CVE-2022-0185",{"_key":59},"UBUNTU-CVE-2022-0330",{"_key":61},"UBUNTU-CVE-2022-0435",{"_key":63},"UBUNTU-CVE-2022-0492",{"_key":65},"UBUNTU-CVE-2022-0516",{"_key":67},"UBUNTU-CVE-2022-0742",{"_key":69},"UBUNTU-CVE-2022-0847",{"_key":71},"UBUNTU-CVE-2022-22942",{"_key":73},"UBUNTU-CVE-2022-23222",{"_key":75},"UBUNTU-CVE-2022-23960",{"_key":77},"UBUNTU-CVE-2022-25636",[],[],[81,82,83,84,85,86,87,88,89,90,91,92,93,94,95,96],{"_key":47},{"_key":49},{"_key":51},{"_key":53},{"_key":55},{"_key":57},{"_key":59},{"_key":61},{"_key":63},{"_key":65},{"_key":67},{"_key":69},{"_key":71},{"_key":73},{"_key":75},{"_key":77},"2022-04-01T01:11:38Z","2026-06-03T14:04:07.993882177Z",{"cisa_kev":100,"cisa_ransomware":100,"cisa_vendor":9,"epss_severity":9,"epss_score":9,"severity":9,"severity_score":9,"severity_version":9,"severity_source":9,"severity_vector":9,"severity_status":9},false,[102,108,113,117,121,125,129,133,137,141,145,149,153,157,161,165,169],{"url":103,"sources":104,"tags":106},"https://ubuntu.com/security/notices/USN-5362-1",[105],"osv_ubuntu",[107],"Advisory",{"url":109,"sources":110,"tags":111},"https://ubuntu.com/security/CVE-2021-4083",[105],[112],"REPORT",{"url":114,"sources":115,"tags":116},"https://ubuntu.com/security/CVE-2021-4090",[105],[112],{"url":118,"sources":119,"tags":120},"https://ubuntu.com/security/CVE-2021-4155",[105],[112],{"url":122,"sources":123,"tags":124},"https://ubuntu.com/security/CVE-2021-42327",[105],[112],{"url":126,"sources":127,"tags":128},"https://ubuntu.com/security/CVE-2022-0001",[105],[112],{"url":130,"sources":131,"tags":132},"https://ubuntu.com/security/CVE-2022-0185",[105],[112],{"url":134,"sources":135,"tags":136},"https://ubuntu.com/security/CVE-2022-0330",[105],[112],{"url":138,"sources":139,"tags":140},"https://ubuntu.com/security/CVE-2022-0435",[105],[112],{"url":142,"sources":143,"tags":144},"https://ubuntu.com/security/CVE-2022-0492",[105],[112],{"url":146,"sources":147,"tags":148},"https://ubuntu.com/security/CVE-2022-0516",[105],[112],{"url":150,"sources":151,"tags":152},"https://ubuntu.com/security/CVE-2022-0742",[105],[112],{"url":154,"sources":155,"tags":156},"https://ubuntu.com/security/CVE-2022-0847",[105],[112],{"url":158,"sources":159,"tags":160},"https://ubuntu.com/security/CVE-2022-22942",[105],[112],{"url":162,"sources":163,"tags":164},"https://ubuntu.com/security/CVE-2022-23222",[105],[112],{"url":166,"sources":167,"tags":168},"https://ubuntu.com/security/CVE-2022-23960",[105],[112],{"url":170,"sources":171,"tags":172},"https://ubuntu.com/security/CVE-2022-25636",[105],[112],[],[],[],[177],{"ecosystem":178,"name":179,"vendor":180,"product":179,"cpe_part":9,"purl_type":181,"purl_namespace":180,"purl_name":179,"source":9,"versions":182},"Ubuntu","linux-intel-5.13","ubuntu","deb",[183],{"version":184,"is_range":185,"range_type":186,"version_start":9,"version_start_type":9,"version_end":187,"version_end_type":188,"fixed_in":9},"lt5_13_0_1010_10",true,"ecosystem","5.13.0-1010.10","excluding"]
