CVE-2018-1288apache software foundationapache kafka+16
EPSS score4.80%
In Apache Kafka 0.9.0.0 to 0.9.0.1, 0.10.0.0 to 0.10.2.1, 0.11.0.0 to 0.11.0.2, and 1.0.0, authenticated Kafka users may perform action reserved for the Broker via a manually created fetch request interfering with data replication, resulting in data loss.CVE-2018-1340apache software foundationapache guacamole+3EPSS score2.04%
Prior to 1.0.0, Apache Guacamole used a cookie for client-side storage of the user's session token. This cookie lacked the "secure" flag, which could allow an attacker eavesdropping on the network to intercept the user's session token if unencrypted HTTP requests are made to the same domain.CVE-2018-1325apache software foundationwicket-jquery-ui+2EPSS score0.81%
In Apache wicket-jquery-ui <= 6.29.0, <= 7.10.1, <= 8.0.0-M9.1, JS code created in WYSIWYG editor will be executed on display.CVE-2018-1324apache software foundationapache commons compress+27EPSS score3.66%
A specially crafted ZIP archive can be used to cause an infinite loop inside of Apache Commons Compress' extra field parser used by the ZipFile and ZipArchiveInputStream classes in versions 1.11 to 1.15. This can be used to mount a denial of service attack against services that use Compress' zip package.CVE-2018-1281apache software foundationapache mxnet+1EPSS score1.92%
The clustered setup of Apache MXNet allows users to specify which IP address and port the scheduler will listen on via the DMLC_PS_ROOT_URI and DMLC_PS_ROOT_PORT env variables. In versions older than 1.0.0, however, the MXNet framework will listen on 0.0.0.0 rather than user specified DMLC_PS_ROOT_URI once a scheduler node is initialized. This exposes the instance running MXNet to any attackers reachable via the interface they didn't expect to be listening on. For example: If a user wants to run a clustered setup locally, they may specify to run on 127.0.0.1. But since MXNet will listen on 0.0.0.0, it makes the port accessible on all network interfaces.CVE-2018-1289apache software foundationapache fineract+1EPSS score2.53%
In Apache Fineract versions 1.0.0, 0.6.0-incubating, 0.5.0-incubating, 0.4.0-incubating, the system exposes different REST end points to query domain specific entities with a Query Parameter 'orderBy' and 'sortOrder' which are appended directly with SQL statements. A hacker/user can inject/draft the 'orderBy' and 'sortOrder' query parameter in such a way to read/update the data for which he doesn't have authorization.CVE-2018-1283apache software foundationapache http server+11EPSS score9.74%
In Apache httpd 2.4.0 to 2.4.29, when mod_session is configured to forward its session data to CGI applications (SessionEnv on, not the default), a remote user may influence their content by using a "Session" header. This comes from the "HTTP_SESSION" variable name used by mod_session to forward its data to CGIs, since the prefix "HTTP_" is also used by the Apache HTTP Server to pass HTTP header fields, per CGI specifications.CVE-2018-1332apache software foundationapache storm+2EPSS score1.41%
Apache Storm version 1.0.6 and earlier, 1.2.1 and earlier, and version 1.1.2 and earlier expose a vulnerability that could allow a user to impersonate another user when communicating with some Storm Daemons.CVE-2018-1317apache software foundationapache zeppelin+2EPSS score4.58%
In Apache Zeppelin prior to 0.8.0 the cron scheduler was enabled by default and could allow users to run paragraphs as other users without authentication.CVE-2018-1320apache software foundationapache thrift+12EPSS score8.19%
Apache Thrift Java client library versions 0.5.0 through 0.11.0 can bypass SASL negotiation isComplete validation in the org.apache.thrift.transport.TSaslTransport class. An assert used to determine if the SASL handshake had successfully completed could be disabled in production settings making the validation incomplete.CVE-2018-1339apache software foundationapache tika+4EPSS score2.56%
A carefully crafted (or fuzzed) file can trigger an infinite loop in Apache Tika's ChmParser in versions of Apache Tika before 1.18.CVE-2018-1294apache software foundationapache commons email+4EPSS score2.77%
If a user of Apache Commons Email (typically an application programmer) passes unvalidated input as the so-called "Bounce Address", and that input contains line-breaks, then the email details (recipients, contents, etc.) might be manipulated. Mitigation: Users should upgrade to Commons-Email 1.5. You can mitigate this vulnerability for older versions of Commons Email by stripping line-breaks from data, that will be passed to Email.setBounceAddress(String).CVE-2018-1299apache software foundationapache allura+1EPSS score3.00%
In Apache Allura before 1.8.0, unauthenticated attackers may retrieve arbitrary files through the Allura web application. Some webservers used with Allura, such as Nginx, Apache/mod_wsgi or paster may prevent the attack from succeeding. Others, such as gunicorn do not prevent it and leave Allura vulnerable.CVE-2018-1304apache software foundationapache tomcat+13EPSS score17.07%
The URL pattern of "" (the empty string) which exactly maps to the context root was not correctly handled in Apache Tomcat 9.0.0.M1 to 9.0.4, 8.5.0 to 8.5.27, 8.0.0.RC1 to 8.0.49 and 7.0.0 to 7.0.84 when used as part of a security constraint definition. This caused the constraint to be ignored. It was, therefore, possible for unauthorised users to gain access to web application resources that should have been protected. Only security constraints with a URL pattern of the empty string were affected.CVE-2018-1301apache software foundationapache http server+11EPSS score14.99%
A specially crafted request could have crashed the Apache HTTP Server prior to version 2.4.30, due to an out of bound access after a size limit is reached by reading the HTTP header. This vulnerability is considered very hard if not impossible to trigger in non-debug mode (both log and build level), so it is classified as low risk for common server usage.CVE-2018-1318apache software foundationapache traffic server+4EPSS score7.72%
Adding method ACLs in remap.config can cause a segfault when the user makes a carefully crafted request. This affects versions Apache Traffic Server (ATS) 6.0.0 to 6.2.2 and 7.0.0 to 7.1.3. To resolve this issue users running 6.x should upgrade to 6.2.3 or later versions and 7.x users should upgrade to 7.1.4 or later versions.CVE-2018-1316apache software foundationapache ode+2EPSS score3.14%
The ODE process deployment web service was sensible to deployment messages with forged names. Using a path for the name was allowing directory traversal, resulting in the potential writing of files under unwanted locations, the overwriting of existing files or their deletion. This issue was addressed in Apache ODE 1.3.3 which was released in 2009, however the incorrect name CVE-2008-2370 was used on the advisory by mistake.CVE-2018-1307apache software foundationapache juddi+2EPSS score1.67%
In Apache jUDDI 3.2 through 3.3.4, if using the WADL2Java or WSDL2Java classes, which parse a local or remote XML document and then mediates the data structures into UDDI data structures, there are little protections present against entity expansion and DTD type of attacks. Mitigation is to use 3.3.5.CVE-2018-1310apache software foundationapache nifi+2EPSS score3.18%
Apache NiFi JMS Deserialization issue because of ActiveMQ client vulnerability. Malicious JMS content could cause denial of service. See ActiveMQ CVE-2015-5254 announcement for more information. The fix to upgrade the activemq-client library to 5.15.3 was applied on the Apache NiFi 1.6.0 release. Users running a prior 1.x release should upgrade to the appropriate release.CVE-2018-1306apache software foundationapache pluto+2EPSS score43.47%
The PortletV3AnnotatedDemo Multipart Portlet war file code provided in Apache Pluto version 3.0.0 could allow a remote attacker to obtain sensitive information, caused by the failure to restrict path information provided during a file upload. An attacker could exploit this vulnerability to obtain configuration data and other sensitive information.
