CVE-2026-102479eclipse foundationeclipse vert.x
EPSS score0.27%
In Eclipse Vert.x versions [5.0.0,5.0.12] or [5.1.0,5.1.9] or [5.2.0, 5.2.0], the Vert.x HTTP/1.x decoder uses a canonicalization for well known HTTP headers, the canonicalization process interprets well crafted headers as headers of this list, allowing for instance Content-Xength to be interpeted as Content-Length.
This can be exploited for request smuggling purpose.
The impacted component is io.vertx:vertx-core.CVE-2026-102460eclipse foundationeclipse vert.xEPSS score0.32%
In Eclipse Vert.x versions [4.0.0, 4.5.34] or [5.0.0,5.0.12] or [5.1.0,5.1.9] or [5.2.0, 5.2.0], a scope bypass vulnerability exists in Eclipse Vert.x Web's ChainAuthHandler when used with scope-requiring authentication handlers such as JWTAuthHandler or OAuth2AuthHandler. When a user is already authenticated on the routing context by a preceding handler in the request pipeline, ChainAuthHandler skips all scope validation configured via withScope() or withScopes(). This affects both any() and all() chain modes.
The root cause is that postAuthentication() relies on internal state that is only set during the authenticate() phase, which is skipped entirely for pre-authenticated users. In any() mode, the absence of this state causes the method to fall through without delegating scope checks to any handler. In all() mode, scope checks are unconditionally skipped.
This allows a user with a valid token but insufficient scopes to access resources protected by scope requirements, provided they were authenticated by an earlier handler in the pipeline. The most common trigger is overlapping authentication handlers on nested routes, where a parent route authenticates broadly and a child route uses a chain to enforce specific scopes.
The impacted component Maven coordinate is io.vertx:vertx-webCVE-2026-102471eclipse foundationeclipse vert.xEPSS score0.32%
In Eclipse Vert.x versions [4.0.0, 4.5.34] or [5.0.0,5.0.12] or [5.1.0,5.1.9] or [5.2.0, 5.2.0], the vertx-mail-client does not sanitize CR (\r) or LF (\n) characters in user-supplied email header names and values before writing them into the SMTP DATA section. A CR/LF sequence embedded in a name or value passed to MailMessage.addHeader(), MailMessage.setHeaders(), MailAttachment.addHeader(), or MailAttachment.setHeaders() is written verbatim to the wire, allowing an attacker to inject arbitrary headers (e.g. Bcc, Reply-To, Content-Type) or prepend body content to the outgoing message.
The same weakness affects MIME part metadata set via MailAttachment.setContentType(), setDisposition(), setDescription(), and setContentId(), which are written directly into MIME part headers without validation.
A secondary weakness in Utils.mustEncode(char) additionally allows a bare LF in a From display-name to bypass Q-encoding and reach the wire unchanged.
An unauthenticated attacker who can control any header name, header value, or attachment metadata field passed to the mail client (for example via a web form or API that feeds into MailMessage) can exploit this to redirect email copies, spoof headers, or tamper with message structure.
The impacted component is io.vertx:vertx-mail-client.CVE-2026-103414eclipse foundationguixEPSS score0.16%
The GUIX binary resource (theme) loader sizes its arena and populates it in two separate passes that traverse the resource file with independent cursor arithmetic. Because `gx_page_header_data_size` is never validated against the glyph data a page actually contains, the two passes can read different page headers for the same font page, derive different glyph counts, and reserve less than the load pass writes. The excess is written past the end of the arena, with content taken verbatim from the file.
The overflowed buffer is allocated by GUIX itself, through `_gx_system_memory_allocator`, rather than supplied by the caller. The public API `gx_binres_theme_load()` takes no size parameter, so no amount of caller diligence prevents this.
Reproduces in the shipped default configuration; `GX_BINARY_RESOURCE_SUPPORT` is enabled by default.CVE-2026-106464eclipse foundationnetx duoEPSS score0.18%
`_nx_secure_x509_parse_signature_data` computes the certificate signature's length as `tlv_length - 1` without first checking that `tlv_length` is non-zero. A certificate whose signature is an empty ASN.1 BIT STRING therefore parses successfully and leaves the certificate holding a signature length of `0xFFFFFFFF` and a signature pointer one byte past the end of the buffer. Certificates are parsed from the peer during the TLS handshake, so the input is remote and unauthenticated.CVE-2026-103415eclipse foundationnetx duoEPSS score0.28%
When a TLS 1.3 client processes a HelloRetryRequest, it copies the server's cookie into its second ClientHello without checking that the cookie fits in the outgoing packet. Both the length and the contents of that cookie come from the peer, and the write happens before certificate authentication completes, so a malicious or compromised server can overwrite memory past the caller supplied TLS packet buffer without presenting a certificate.
Only the client path is affected.CVE-2026-106465eclipse foundationnetx duoEPSS score0.32%
The NetX Secure DTLS server sends a HelloVerifyRequest carrying a freshly generated cookie, but never checks the cookie a client returns. The ClientHello parser copies the client's cookie bytes over the value the server issued, and the server then decides whether the client has been verified from the cookie's length alone. A peer that puts any single cookie byte in its first ClientHello skips the verification exchange entirely, so the server has no return-routability check and completes handshakes for forged source addresses.CVE-2026-92877ubuntujaxb+1EPSS score0.27%
The JAXB factory methods historically relied solely on `FEATURE_SECURE_PROCESSING` to prevent XML External Entity (XXE) resolution. On JAXP implementations where that feature alone does not block external entity resolution, an attacker who can get untrusted XML unmarshalled through JAXB can read local files via out-of-band XXE.CVE-2025-2260eclipse foundationthreadx+1EPSS score0.96%
In NetX HTTP server functionality of Eclipse ThreadX NetX Duo before
version 6.4.3, an attacker can cause a denial of service by specially
crafted packets. The core issue is missing closing of a file in case of
an error condition, resulting in the 404 error for each further file
request. Users can work-around the issue by disabling the PUT request
support.
This issue follows an incomplete fix of CVE-2025-0726.CVE-2025-2515eclipse foundationbluechiEPSS score0.21%
A vulnerability was found in BlueChi, a multi-node systemd service controller used in RHIVOS. This flaw allows a user with root privileges on a managed node (qm) to create or override systemd service unit files that affect the host node. This issue can lead to privilege escalation, unauthorized service execution, and potential system compromise.CVE-2025-2259eclipse foundationthreadx+1EPSS score0.96%
In NetX HTTP server functionality of Eclipse ThreadX NetX Duo before
version 6.4.3, an attacker can cause an integer underflow and a
subsequent denial of service by writing a very large file, by specially
crafted packets with Content-Length in one packet smaller than the data
request size of the other packet. A possible workaround is to disable
HTTP PUT support.
This issue follows an incomplete fix of CVE-2025-0727CVE-2025-2258eclipse foundationthreadx+1EPSS score0.96%
In NetX Duo component HTTP server functionality of Eclipse ThreadX NetX Duo before
version 6.4.3, an attacker can cause an integer underflow and a
subsequent denial of service by writing a very large file, by specially
crafted packets with Content-Length smaller than the data request size. A
possible workaround is to disable HTTP PUT support.
This issue follows an uncomplete fix in CVE-2025-0728.CVE-2025-1471eclipse foundationeclipse omr+1EPSS score0.18%
In Eclipse OMR versions 0.2.0 to 0.4.0, some of the z/OS atoe print functions use a constant length buffer for string conversion. If the input format string and arguments are larger than the buffer size then buffer overflow occurs. Beginning in version 0.5.0, the conversion buffers are sized correctly and checked appropriately to prevent buffer overflows.CVE-2025-1470eclipse foundationeclipse omr+1EPSS score0.18%
In Eclipse OMR, from the initial contribution to version 0.4.0, some OMR internal port library and utilities consumers of z/OS atoe functions do not check their return values for NULL memory pointers or for memory allocation failures. This can lead to NULL pointer dereference crashes. Beginning in version 0.5.0, internal OMR consumers of atoe functions handle NULL return values and memory allocation failures correctly.CVE-2025-1007eclipse foundationopenvsx+1EPSS score0.52%
In OpenVSX version v0.9.0 to v0.20.0, the
/user/namespace/{namespace}/details API allows a user to edit all
namespace details, even if the user is not a namespace Owner or
Contributor. The details include: name, description, website, support
link and social media links. The same issues existed in
/user/namespace/{namespace}/details/logo and allowed a user to change
the logo.CVE-2025-1948chainguardneo4j-5.26+7EPSS score0.78%
In Eclipse Jetty versions 12.0.0 to 12.0.16 included, an HTTP/2 client can specify a very large value for the HTTP/2 settings parameter SETTINGS_MAX_HEADER_LIST_SIZE.
The Jetty HTTP/2 server does not perform validation on this setting, and tries to allocate a ByteBuffer of the specified capacity to encode HTTP responses, likely resulting in OutOfMemoryError being thrown, or even the JVM process exiting.CVE-2025-55089eclipse foundationfilex+1EPSS score0.51%
In FileX before 6.4.2, the file support module for Eclipse Foundation ThreadX, there was a possible buffer overflow in the FileX RAM disk driver. It could cause a remote execurtion after receiving a crafted sequence of packetsCVE-2025-55095eclipse foundationeclipse threadx - usbx+1EPSS score0.17%
The function _ux_host_class_storage_media_mount() is responsible for mounting partitions on a USB mass storage device. When it encounters an extended partition entry in the partition table, it recursively calls itself to mount the next logical partition.
This recursion occurs in _ux_host_class_storage_partition_read(), which parses up to four partition entries. If an extended partition is found (with type UX_HOST_CLASS_STORAGE_PARTITION_EXTENDED or EXTENDED_LBA_MAPPED), the code invokes:
_ux_host_class_storage_media_mount(storage, sector + _ux_utility_long_get(...));
There is no limit on the recursion depth or tracking of visited sectors. As a result, a malicious or malformed disk image can include cyclic or excessively deep chains of extended partitions, causing the function to recurse until stack overflow occurs.CVE-2025-55080eclipse foundationthreadx+1EPSS score0.14%
In Eclipse ThreadX before 6.4.3, when memory protection is enabled, syscall parameters verification wasn't enough, allowing an attacker to obtain an arbitrary memory read/write.CVE-2025-55083eclipse foundationnetx duo+1EPSS score0.25%
In NetX Duo version before 6.4.4, the component of Eclipse Foundation ThreadX, there was an incorrect bound check resulting it out by two out of bound read.
