CVE-2020-36024debianpoppler+18
EPSS score0.53%
An issue was discovered in freedesktop poppler version 20.12.1, allows remote attackers to cause a denial of service (DoS) via crafted .pdf file to FoFiType1C::convertToType1 function.CVE-2020-36023debianpoppler+2EPSS score1.17%
An issue was discovered in freedesktop poppler version 20.12.1, allows remote attackers to cause a denial of service (DoS) via crafted .pdf file to FoFiType1C::cvtGlyph function.CVE-2020-18839debianpoppler+2EPSS score0.65%
Buffer Overflow vulnerability in HtmlOutputDev::page in poppler 0.75.0 allows attackers to cause a denial of service.CVE-2020-27748debianxdg-utils+3EPSS score1.44%
A flaw was found in the xdg-email component of xdg-utils-1.1.0-rc1 and newer. When handling mailto: URIs, xdg-email allows attachments to be discreetly added via the URI when being passed to Thunderbird. An attacker could potentially send a victim a URI that automatically attaches a sensitive file to a new email. If a victim user does not notice that an attachment was added and sends the email, this could result in sensitive information disclosure. It has been confirmed that the code behind this issue is in xdg-email and not in Thunderbird.CVE-2020-27778alpinepoppler+31EPSS score2.20%
A flaw was found in Poppler in the way certain PDF files were converted into HTML. A remote attacker could exploit this flaw by providing a malicious PDF file that, when processed by the 'pdftohtml' program, would crash the application causing a denial of service.CVE-2020-12049alpinedbus+38EPSS score0.57%
An issue was discovered in dbus >= 1.3.0 before 1.12.18. The DBusServer in libdbus, as used in dbus-daemon, leaks file descriptors when a message exceeds the per-message file descriptor limit. A local attacker with access to the D-Bus system bus or another system service's private AF_UNIX socket could use this to make the system service reach its file descriptor limit, denying service to subsequent D-Bus clients.CVE-2020-35512debiandbus+39EPSS score0.33%
A use-after-free flaw was found in D-Bus Development branch <= 1.13.16, dbus-1.12.x stable branch <= 1.12.18, and dbus-1.10.x and older branches <= 1.10.30 when a system has multiple usernames sharing the same UID. When a set of policy rules references these usernames, D-Bus may free some memory in the heap, which is still used by data structures necessary for the other usernames sharing the UID, possibly leading to a crash or other undefined behaviorsCVE-2020-35702alpinepoppler+1EPSS score0.87%
DCTStream::getChars in DCTStream.cc in Poppler 20.12.1 has a heap-based buffer overflow via a crafted PDF document. NOTE: later reports indicate that this only affects builds from Poppler git clones in late December 2020, not the 20.12.1 release. In this situation, it should NOT be considered a Poppler vulnerability. However, several third-party Open Source projects directly rely on Poppler git clones made at arbitrary times, and therefore the CVE remains useful to users of those projectsCVE-2020-23804debianpoppler+3EPSS score1.15%
Uncontrolled Recursion in pdfinfo, and pdftops in poppler 0.89.0 allows remote attackers to cause a denial of service via crafted input.CVE-2014-0004canonicalubuntu_linux+12EPSS score0.43%
Stack-based buffer overflow in udisks before 1.0.5 and 2.x before 2.1.3 allows local users to cause a denial of service (crash) and possibly execute arbitrary code via a long mount point.CVE-2014-7824canonicalubuntu_linux+7EPSS score0.59%
D-Bus 1.3.0 through 1.6.x before 1.6.26, 1.8.x before 1.8.10, and 1.9.x before 1.9.2 allows local users to cause a denial of service (prevention of new connections and connection drop) by queuing the maximum number of file descriptors. NOTE: this vulnerability exists because of an incomplete fix for CVE-2014-3636.1.CVE-2014-3639d-bus_projectd-bus+4EPSS score0.40%
The dbus-daemon in D-Bus before 1.6.24 and 1.8.x before 1.8.8 does not properly close old connections, which allows local users to cause a denial of service (incomplete connection consumption and prevention of new connections) via a large number of incomplete connections.CVE-2014-3532debiandbus+6EPSS score0.45%
dbus 1.3.0 before 1.6.22 and 1.8.x before 1.8.6, when running on Linux 2.6.37-rc4 or later, allows local users to cause a denial of service (system-bus disconnect of other services or applications) by sending a message containing a file descriptor, then exceeding the maximum recursion depth before the initial message is forwarded.CVE-2014-3477d-bus_projectd-bus+5EPSS score0.44%
The dbus-daemon in D-Bus 1.2.x through 1.4.x, 1.6.x before 1.6.20, and 1.8.x before 1.8.4, sends an AccessDenied error to the service instead of a client when the client is prohibited from accessing the service, which allows local users to cause a denial of service (initialization failure and exit) or possibly conduct a side-channel attack via a D-Bus message to an inactive service.CVE-2014-3635d-bus_projectd-bus+4EPSS score0.49%
Off-by-one error in D-Bus 1.3.0 through 1.6.x before 1.6.24 and 1.8.x before 1.8.8, when running on a 64-bit system and the max_message_unix_fds limit is set to an odd number, allows local users to cause a denial of service (dbus-daemon crash) or possibly execute arbitrary code by sending one more file descriptor than the limit, which triggers a heap-based buffer overflow or an assertion failure.CVE-2014-3638d-bus_projectd-bus+4EPSS score0.39%
The bus_connections_check_reply function in config-parser.c in D-Bus before 1.6.24 and 1.8.x before 1.8.8 allows local users to cause a denial of service (CPU consumption) via a large number of method calls.CVE-2014-3637debiandbus+3EPSS score0.45%
D-Bus 1.3.0 through 1.6.x before 1.6.24 and 1.8.x before 1.8.8 does not properly close connections for processes that have terminated, which allows local users to cause a denial of service via a D-bus message containing a D-Bus connection file descriptor.CVE-2014-3636d-bus_projectd-bus+4EPSS score0.51%
D-Bus 1.3.0 through 1.6.x before 1.6.24 and 1.8.x before 1.8.8 allows local users to (1) cause a denial of service (prevention of new connections and connection drop) by queuing the maximum number of file descriptors or (2) cause a denial of service (disconnect) via multiple messages that combine to have more than the allowed number of file descriptors for a single sendmsg call.CVE-2014-3533debiandbus+5EPSS score0.42%
dbus 1.3.0 before 1.6.22 and 1.8.x before 1.8.6 allows local users to cause a denial of service (disconnect) via a certain sequence of crafted messages that cause the dbus-daemon to forward a message containing an invalid file descriptor.CVE-2008-1658debianpolicykit-1+1EPSS score0.68%
Format string vulnerability in the grant helper (polkit-grant-helper.c) in PolicyKit 0.7 and earlier allows attackers to cause a denial of service (crash) and possibly execute arbitrary code via format strings in a password.
