7.8CVE-2018-16875ubuntugolang-1.10+7
EPSS score
6.38%
The crypto/x509 package of Go before 1.10.6 and 1.11.x before 1.11.3 does not limit the amount of work performed for each chain verification, which might allow attackers to craft pathological inputs leading to a CPU denial of service. Go TLS servers accepting client certificates and TLS clients are affected.
8.1CVE-2018-16874ubuntugolang-1.10+10
EPSS score
5.04%
In Go before 1.10.6 and 1.11.x before 1.11.3, the "go get" command is vulnerable to directory traversal when executed with the import path of a malicious Go package which contains curly braces (both '{' and '}' characters). Specifically, it is only vulnerable in GOPATH mode, but not in module mode (the distinction is documented at https://golang.org/cmd/go/#hdr-Module_aware_go_get). The attacker can cause an arbitrary filesystem write, which can lead to code execution.
8.1CVE-2018-16873ubuntugolang-1.10+10
EPSS score
66.25%
In Go before 1.10.6 and 1.11.x before 1.11.3, the "go get" command is vulnerable to remote code execution when executed with the -u flag and the import path of a malicious Go package, or a package that imports it directly or indirectly. Specifically, it is only vulnerable in GOPATH mode, but not in module mode (the distinction is documented at https://golang.org/cmd/go/#hdr-Module_aware_go_get). Using custom domains, it's possible to arrange things so that a Git repository is cloned to a folder named ".git" by using a vanity import path that ends with "/.git". If the Git repository root contains a "HEAD" file, a "config" file, an "objects" directory, a "refs" directory, with some work to ensure the proper ordering of operations, "go get -u" can be tricked into considering the parent directory as a repository root, and running Git commands on it. That will use the "config" file in the original Git repository root for its configuration, and if that config file contains malicious commands, they will execute on the system running "go get -u".
5.5CVE-2018-1002207archiver_projectarchiver+2
EPSS score
2.53%
mholt/archiver golang package before e4ef56d48eb029648b0e895bb0b6a393ef0829c3 is vulnerable to directory traversal, allowing attackers to write to arbitrary files via a ../ (dot dot slash) in an archive entry that is mishandled during extraction. This vulnerability is also known as 'Zip-Slip'.
7.5CVE-2018-17075fedoraprojectfedora+2
EPSS score
2.77%
The html package (aka x/net/html) before 2018-07-13 in Go mishandles "in frameset" insertion mode, leading to a "panic: runtime error" for html.Parse of <template><object>, <template><applet>, or <template><marquee>. This is related to HTMLTreeBuilder.cpp in WebKit.
7.5CVE-2018-17848fedoraprojectfedora+1
EPSS score
2.23%
The html package (aka x/net/html) through 2018-09-25 in Go mishandles <math><template><mn><b></template>, leading to a "panic: runtime error" (index out of range) in (*insertionModeStack).pop in node.go, called from inHeadIM, during an html.Parse call.
7.5CVE-2018-17143fedoraprojectfedora+2
EPSS score
2.77%
The html package (aka x/net/html) through 2018-09-17 in Go mishandles <template><tBody><isindex/action=0>, leading to a "panic: runtime error" in inBodyIM in parse.go during an html.Parse call.
7.5CVE-2018-17846ubuntugolang-golang-x-net-dev+3
EPSS score
2.51%
The html package (aka x/net/html) through 2018-09-25 in Go mishandles <table><math><select><mi><select></table>, leading to an infinite loop during an html.Parse call because inSelectIM and inSelectInTableIM do not comply with a specification.
7.5CVE-2018-17142fedoraprojectfedora+2
EPSS score
2.38%
The html package (aka x/net/html) through 2018-09-17 in Go mishandles <math><template><mo><template>, leading to a "panic: runtime error" in parseCurrentToken in parse.go during an html.Parse call.
7.5CVE-2018-17847fedoraprojectfedora+2
EPSS score
2.36%
The html package (aka x/net/html) through 2018-09-25 in Go mishandles <math><template><mn><b></template>, leading to a "panic: runtime error" (index out of range) in (*insertionModeStack).pop in node.go, called from inHeadIM, during an html.Parse call.
9.3CVE-2018-7187debiangolang+9
EPSS score
63.03%
The "go get" implementation in Go 1.9.4, when the -insecure command-line option is used, does not validate the import path (get/vcs.go only checks for "://" anywhere in the string), which allows remote attackers to execute arbitrary OS commands via a crafted web site.
7.8CVE-2018-6574ubuntugolang-1.6+23
EPSS score
7.63%
Go before 1.8.7, Go 1.9.x before 1.9.4, and Go 1.10 pre-releases before Go 1.10rc2 allow "go get" remote command execution during source code build, by leveraging the gcc or clang plugin feature, because -fplugin= and -plugin= arguments were not blocked.
7.5CVE-2021-41771debiangolang-1.15+7
EPSS score
4.70%
ImportedSymbols in debug/macho (for Open or OpenFat) in Go before 1.16.10 and 1.17.x before 1.17.3 Accesses a Memory Location After the End of a Buffer, aka an out-of-bounds slice situation.
7.5CVE-2021-41772ubuntugolang-1.16+6
EPSS score
3.25%
Go before 1.16.10 and 1.17.x before 1.17.3 allows an archive/zip Reader.Open panic via a crafted ZIP archive containing an invalid name or an empty filename field.
5.9CVE-2021-31525chainguardgrpcurl+25
EPSS score
3.69%
net/http in Go before 1.15.12 and 1.16.x before 1.16.4 allows remote attackers to cause a denial of service (panic) via a large header to ReadRequest or ReadResponse. Server, Transport, and Client can each be affected in some configurations.
5.9CVE-2021-36221debiangolang-1.15+32
EPSS score
3.11%
Go before 1.15.15 and 1.16.x before 1.16.7 has a race condition that can lead to a net/http/httputil ReverseProxy panic upon an ErrAbortHandler abort.
7.5CVE-2021-39293debiangolang-1.15+12
EPSS score
6.93%
In archive/zip in Go before 1.16.8 and 1.17.x before 1.17.1, a crafted archive header (falsely designating that many files are present) can cause a NewReader or OpenReader panic. NOTE: this issue exists because of an incomplete fix for CVE-2021-33196.
7.5CVE-2021-43565chainguarddex-k8s-authenticator+71
EPSS score
1.12%

7.5CVE-2021-29923debiangolang-1.15+25
EPSS score
3.74%
Go before 1.17 does not properly consider extraneous zero characters at the beginning of an IP address octet, which (in some situations) allows attackers to bypass access control that is based on IP addresses, because of unexpected octal interpretation. This affects net.ParseIP and net.ParseCIDR.
7.5CVE-2021-27918debiangolang-1.15+19
EPSS score
2.47%
encoding/xml in Go before 1.15.9 and 1.16.x before 1.16.1 has an infinite loop if a custom TokenReader (for xml.NewTokenDecoder) returns EOF in the middle of an element. This can occur in the Decode, DecodeElement, or Skip method.
