CVE-2021-43813ubuntugrafana+4
EPSS score57.08%
Grafana is an open-source platform for monitoring and observability. Grafana prior to versions 8.3.2 and 7.5.12 contains a directory traversal vulnerability for fully lowercase or fully uppercase .md files. The vulnerability is limited in scope, and only allows access to files with the extension .md to authenticated users only. Grafana Cloud instances have not been affected by the vulnerability. Users should upgrade to patched versions 8.3.2 or 7.5.12. For users who cannot upgrade, running a reverse proxy in front of Grafana that normalizes the PATH of the request will mitigate the vulnerability. The proxy will have to also be able to handle url encoded paths. Alternatively, for fully lowercase or fully uppercase .md files, users can block /api/plugins/.*/markdown/.* without losing any functionality beyond inlined plugin help text.CVE-2021-43815ubuntugrafana+3EPSS score1.90%
Grafana is an open-source platform for monitoring and observability. Grafana prior to versions 8.3.2 and 7.5.12 has a directory traversal for arbitrary .csv files. It only affects instances that have the developer testing tool called TestData DB data source enabled and configured. The vulnerability is limited in scope, and only allows access to files with the extension .csv to authenticated users only. Grafana Cloud instances have not been affected by the vulnerability. Versions 8.3.2 and 7.5.12 contain a patch for this issue. There is a workaround available for users who cannot upgrade. Running a reverse proxy in front of Grafana that normalizes the PATH of the request will mitigate the vulnerability. The proxy will have to also be able to handle url encoded paths.CVE-2021-27358ubuntugrafana+3EPSS score83.04%
The snapshot feature in Grafana 6.7.3 through 7.4.1 can allow an unauthenticated remote attackers to trigger a Denial of Service via a remote API call if a commonly used configuration is set.CVE-2021-27962grafanagrafanaEPSS score2.07%
Grafana Enterprise 7.2.x and 7.3.x before 7.3.10 and 7.4.x before 7.4.5 allows a dashboard editor to bypass a permission check concerning a data source they should not be able to access.CVE-2021-28146grafanagrafanaEPSS score1.40%
The team sync HTTP API in Grafana Enterprise 7.4.x before 7.4.5 has an Incorrect Access Control issue. On Grafana instances using an external authentication service, this vulnerability allows any authenticated user to add external groups to existing teams. The team sync HTTP API in Grafana Enterprise 6.x before 6.7.6, 7.x before 7.3.10, and 7.4.x before 7.4.5 has an Incorrect Access Control issue. On Grafana instances using an external authentication service and having the EditorsCanAdmin feature enabled, this vulnerability allows any authenticated user to add external groups to any existing team. This can be used to grant a user team permissions that the user isn't supposed to have.CVE-2021-28148grafanagrafanaEPSS score3.50%
One of the usage insights HTTP API endpoints in Grafana Enterprise 6.x before 6.7.6, 7.x before 7.3.10, and 7.4.x before 7.4.5 is accessible without any authentication. This allows any unauthenticated user to send an unlimited number of requests to the endpoint, leading to a denial of service (DoS) attack against a Grafana Enterprise instance.CVE-2015-9282grafanapiechart-panelEPSS score1.29%
The Pie Chart Panel plugin through 2019-01-02 for Grafana is vulnerable to XSS via legend data or tooltip data. When a chart is included in a Grafana dashboard, this vulnerability could allow an attacker to gain remote unauthenticated access to the dashboard.CVE-2025-2703grafanagrafana+1EPSS score16.04%
The built-in XY Chart plugin is vulnerable to a DOM XSS vulnerability.
A user with Editor permissions is able to modify such a panel in order to make it execute arbitrary JavaScript.CVE-2025-1088chainguardgrafana-11.3+16EPSS score0.47%
In Grafana, an excessively long dashboard title or panel name will cause Chromium browsers to become unresponsive due to Improper Input Validation vulnerability in Grafana.
This issue affects Grafana: before 11.6.2 and is fixed in 11.6.2 and higher.CVE-2025-41115chainguardgrafana-12.0+14EPSS score16.91%
SCIM provisioning was introduced in Grafana Enterprise and Grafana Cloud in April to improve how organizations manage users and teams in Grafana by introducing automated user lifecycle management.
In Grafana versions 12.x where SCIM provisioning is enabled and configured, a vulnerability in user identity handling allows a malicious or compromised SCIM client to provision a user with a numeric externalId, which in turn could allow to override internal user IDs and lead to impersonation or privilege escalation.
This vulnerability applies only if all of the following conditions are met:
- `enableSCIM` feature flag set to true
- `user_sync_enabled` config option in the `[auth.scim]` block set to trueCVE-2025-41117chainguardgrafana-fips-11.6+12EPSS score0.27%
Stack traces in Grafana's Explore Traces view can be rendered as raw HTML, and thus inject malicious JavaScript in the browser. This would require malicious JavaScript to be entered into the stack trace field.
Only datasources with the Jaeger HTTP API appear to be affected; Jaeger gRPC and Tempo do not appear affected whatsoever.CVE-2025-41118chainguardgrafana-pyroscope-1.12+4EPSS score0.41%
Pyroscope is an open-source continuous profiling database. The database supports various storage backends, including Tencent Cloud Object Storage (COS).
If the database is configured to use Tencent COS as the storage backend, an attacker could extract the secret_key configuration value from the Pyroscope API.
To exploit this vulnerability, an attacker needs direct access to the Pyroscope API. We highly recommend limiting the public internet exposure of all our databases, such that they are only accessible by trusted users or internal systems.
This vulnerability is fixed in versions:
1.15.x: 1.15.2 and above.
1.16.x: 1.16.1 and above.
1.17.x: 1.17.0 and above (i.e. all versions).
Thanks to Théo Cusnir for reporting this vulnerability to us via our bug bounty program.CVE-2025-11539grafanagrafana-image-rendererEPSS score0.64%
Grafana Image Renderer is vulnerable to remote code execution due to an arbitrary file write vulnerability. This is due to the fact that the /render/csv endpoint lacked validation of the filePath parameter that allowed an attacker to save a shared object to an arbitrary location that is then loaded by the Chromium process.
Instances are vulnerable if:
1. The default token ("authToken") is not changed, or is known to the attacker.
2. The attacker can reach the image renderer endpoint.
This issue affects grafana-image-renderer: from 1.0.0 through 4.0.16.CVE-2025-4123chainguardgrafana-fips-11.6+26EPSS score97.08%
A cross-site scripting (XSS) vulnerability exists in Grafana caused by combining a client path traversal and open redirect. This allows attackers to redirect users to a website that hosts a frontend plugin that will execute arbitrary JavaScript. This vulnerability does not require editor permissions and if anonymous access is enabled, the XSS will work. If the Grafana Image Renderer plugin is installed, it is possible to exploit the open redirect to achieve a full read SSRF.
The default Content-Security-Policy (CSP) in Grafana will block the XSS though the `connect-src` directive.CVE-2025-10630github.com/alexanderzobningrafana-zabbix+1EPSS score0.36%
Grafana is an open-source platform for monitoring and observability. Grafana-Zabbix is a plugin for Grafana allowing to visualize monitoring data from Zabbix and create dashboards for analyzing metrics and realtime monitoring.
Versions 5.2.1 and below contained a ReDoS vulnerability via user-supplied regex query which could causes CPU usage to max out. This vulnerability is fixed in version 6.0.0.CVE-2025-6023chainguardgrafana-fips-11.6+10EPSS score57.74%
An open redirect vulnerability has been identified in Grafana OSS that can be exploited to achieve XSS attacks. The vulnerability was introduced in Grafana v11.5.0.
The open redirect can be chained with path traversal vulnerabilities to achieve XSS.
Fixed in versions 12.0.2+security-01, 11.6.3+security-01, 11.5.6+security-01, 11.4.6+security-01 and 11.3.8+security-01CVE-2025-6197ubuntugrafana+1EPSS score70.14%
An open redirect vulnerability has been identified in Grafana OSS organization switching functionality.
Prerequisites for exploitation:
- Multiple organizations must exist in the Grafana instance
- Victim must be on a different organization than the one specified in the URLCVE-2025-12141chainguardgrafana-11.5+8EPSS score0.26%
In Grafana's alerting system, users with edit permissions for a contact point, specifically the permissions “alert.notifications:write” or “alert.notifications.receivers:test” that are granted as part of the fixed role "Contact Point Writer", which is part of the basic role Editor - can edit contact points created by other users, modify the endpoint URL to a controlled server. By invoking the test functionality, attackers can capture and extract redacted secure settings, such as authentication credentials for third-party services (e.g., Slack tokens). This leads to unauthorized access and potential compromise of external integrations.CVE-2025-8341github.com/grafanagrafana-infinity-datasource+1EPSS score0.33%
Grafana is an open-source platform for monitoring and observability. The Infinity datasource plugin, maintained by Grafana Labs, allows visualizing data from JSON, CSV, XML, GraphQL, and HTML endpoints.
If the plugin was configured to allow only certain URLs, an attacker could bypass this restriction using a specially crafted URL. This vulnerability is fixed in version 3.4.1.
