Uncaught exception issue exists in Multiple products in bizhub series. If a malformed file is imported as an S/MIME Email certificate, it may cause a denial-of-service issue that disable the Web Connection feature.CVE-2025-55704brother industries, ltd.multiple mfps+1EPSS score0.27%
Hidden functionality issue exists in multiple MFPs provided by Brother Industries, Ltd., which may allow an attacker to obtain the logs of the affected product and obtain sensitive information within the logs.CVE-2025-53869brother industries, ltd.multiple mfps+2EPSS score0.15%
Multiple MFPs provided by Brother Industries, Ltd. does not properly validate server certificates, which may allow a man-in-the-middle attacker to replace the set of root certificates used by the product with a set of arbitrary certificates.CVE-2025-8452brother industries, ltdads-1250w+694EPSS score0.26%
By using the "uscan" protocol provided by the eSCL specification, an attacker can discover the serial number of multi-function printers that implement the Brother-provided firmware. This serial number can, in turn, can be leveraged by the flaw described by CVE-2024-51978 to calculate the default administrator password. This flaw is similar to CVE-2024-51977, with the only difference being the protocol by which an attacker can use to learn the remote device's serial number. The eSCL/uscan vector is typically only exposed on the local network. Any discovery service that implements the eSCL specification can be used to exploit this vulnerability, and one such implementation is the runZero Explorer. Changing the default administrator password will render this vulnerability virtually worthless, since the calculated default administrator password would no longer be the correct password.CVE-2024-51983brother industries, ltdads-1250w+711EPSS score11.79%
An unauthenticated attacker who can connect to the Web Services feature (HTTP TCP port 80) can issue a WS-Scan SOAP request containing an unexpected JobToken value which will crash the target device. The device will reboot, after which the attacker can reissue the command to repeatedly crash the device.CVE-2024-51978brother industries, ltdads-1250w+604EPSS score15.83%
An unauthenticated attacker who knows the target device's serial number, can generate the default administrator password for the device. An unauthenticated attacker can first discover the target device's serial number via CVE-2024-51977 over HTTP/HTTPS/IPP, or via a PJL request, or via an SNMP request.CVE-2024-51980brother industries, ltdads-2400n+706EPSS score1.02%
An unauthenticated attacker may perform a limited server side request forgery (SSRF), forcing the target device to open a TCP connection to an arbitrary port number on an arbitrary IP address. This SSRF leverages the WS-Addressing ReplyTo element in a Web service (HTTP TCP port 80) SOAP request. The attacker can not control the data sent in the SSRF connection, nor can the attacker receive any data back. This SSRF is suitable for TCP port scanning of an internal network when the Web service (HTTP TCP port 80) is exposed across a network segment.CVE-2024-51984brother industries, ltdads-1700w+742EPSS score1.00%
An authenticated attacker can reconfigure the target device to use an external service (such as LDAP or FTP) controlled by the attacker. If an existing password is present for an external service, the attacker can force the target device to authenticate to an attacker controlled device using the existing credentials for that external service. In the case of an external LDAP or FTP service, this will disclose the plaintext password for that external service to the attacker.CVE-2024-51977brother industries, ltddcp-1610w+450EPSS score46.63%
An unauthenticated attacker who can access either the HTTP service (TCP port 80), the HTTPS service (TCP port 443), or the IPP service (TCP port 631), can leak several pieces of sensitive information from a vulnerable device. The URI path /etc/mnt_info.csv can be accessed via a GET request and no authentication is required. The returned result is a comma separated value (CSV) table of information. The leaked information includes the device’s model, firmware version, IP address, and serial number.CVE-2024-51981brother industries, ltdads-2400n+700EPSS score0.98%
An unauthenticated attacker may perform a blind server side request forgery (SSRF), due to a CLRF injection issue that can be leveraged to perform HTTP request smuggling. This SSRF leverages the WS-Addressing feature used during a WS-Eventing subscription SOAP operation. The attacker can control all the HTTP data sent in the SSRF connection, but the attacker can not receive any data back from this connection.CVE-2024-51979brother industries, ltdads-2400n+635EPSS score1.15%
An authenticated attacker may trigger a stack based buffer overflow by performing a malformed request to either the HTTP service (TCP port 80), the HTTPS service (TCP port 443), or the IPP service (TCP port 631). The malformed request will contain an empty Origin header value and a malformed Referer header value. The Referer header value will trigger a stack based buffer overflow when the host value in the Referer header is processed and is greater than 64 bytes in length.CVE-2024-47939konica minolta, inc.multiple mfps which implement web image monitor+1EPSS score0.70%
Stack-based buffer overflow vulnerability exists in multiple laser printers and MFPs which implement Ricoh Web Image Monitor. If this vulnerability is exploited, receiving a specially crafted request created and sent by an attacker may lead to arbitrary code execution and/or a denial-of-service (DoS) condition. As for the details of affected product names and versions, refer to the information provided by the vendors under [References].
