CVE-2021-44228apache software foundationapache log4j2+144KEVRansomware
EPSS score100.00%
Apache Log4j2 2.0-beta9 through 2.15.0 (excluding security releases 2.12.2, 2.12.3, and 2.3.1) JNDI features used in configuration, log messages, and parameters do not protect against attacker controlled LDAP and other JNDI related endpoints. An attacker who can control log messages or log message parameters can execute arbitrary code loaded from LDAP servers when message lookup substitution is enabled. From log4j 2.15.0, this behavior has been disabled by default. From version 2.16.0 (along with 2.12.2, 2.12.3, and 2.3.1), this functionality has been completely removed. Note that this vulnerability is specific to log4j-core and does not affect log4net, log4cxx, or other Apache Logging Services projects.CVE-2021-28165chainguardhadoop-fips-3.3.6+27EPSS score53.86%
In Eclipse Jetty 7.2.2 to 9.4.38, 10.0.0.alpha0 to 10.0.1, and 11.0.0.alpha0 to 11.0.1, CPU usage can reach 100% upon receiving a large invalid TLS frame.CVE-2021-3156alpinesudo+66KEVEPSS score99.96%
Sudo before 1.9.5p2 contains an off-by-one error that can result in a heap-based buffer overflow, which allows privilege escalation to root via "sudoedit -s" and a command-line argument that ends with a single backslash character.CVE-2025-0167alpinecurl+23EPSS score0.75%
When asked to use a `.netrc` file for credentials **and** to follow HTTP
redirects, curl could leak the password used for the first host to the
followed-to host under certain circumstances.
This flaw only manifests itself if the netrc file has a `default` entry that
omits both login and password. A rare circumstance.CVE-2025-27820apache software foundationapache httpcomponents+8EPSS score0.95%
A bug in PSL validation logic in Apache HttpClient 5.4.x disables domain checks, affecting cookie management and host name verification. Discovered by the Apache HttpClient team. Fixed in the 5.4.3 releaseCVE-2020-13817debianntp+26EPSS score3.28%
ntpd in ntp before 4.2.8p14 and 4.3.x before 4.3.100 allows remote attackers to cause a denial of service (daemon exit or system time change) by predicting transmit timestamps for use in spoofed packets. The victim must be relying on unauthenticated IPv4 time sources. There must be an off-path attacker who can query time from the victim's ntpd instance.CVE-2024-52533debianglib2.0+43EPSS score1.51%
gio/gsocks4aproxy.c in GNOME GLib before 2.82.1 has an off-by-one error and resultant buffer overflow because SOCKS4_CONN_MSG_LEN is not sufficient for a trailing '\0' character.CVE-2024-1351ubuntumongodb+4EPSS score0.50%
Under certain configurations of --tlsCAFile and tls.CAFile, MongoDB Server may skip peer certificate validation which may result in untrusted connections to succeed. This may effectively reduce the security guarantees provided by TLS and open connections that should have been closed due to failing certificate validation. This issue affects MongoDB Server v7.0 versions prior to and including 7.0.5, MongoDB Server v6.0 versions prior to and including 6.0.13, MongoDB Server v5.0 versions prior to and including 5.0.24 and MongoDB Server v4.4 versions prior to and including 4.4.28.
Required Configuration : A server process will allow incoming connections to skip peer certificate validation if the server process was started with TLS enabled (net.tls.mode set to allowTLS, preferTLS, or requireTLS) and without a net.tls.CAFile configured.CVE-2024-26633debianlinux+137EPSS score0.33%
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
ip6_tunnel: fix NEXTHDR_FRAGMENT handling in ip6_tnl_parse_tlv_enc_lim()
syzbot pointed out [1] that NEXTHDR_FRAGMENT handling is broken.
Reading frag_off can only be done if we pulled enough bytes
to skb->head. Currently we might access garbage.

---truncated---CVE-2024-47554apache software foundationapache commons io+296EPSS score1.31%
Uncontrolled Resource Consumption vulnerability in Apache Commons IO.
The org.apache.commons.io.input.XmlStreamReader class may excessively consume CPU resources when processing maliciously crafted input.
This issue affects Apache Commons IO: from 2.0 before 2.14.0.
Users are recommended to upgrade to version 2.14.0 or later, which fixes the issue.CVE-2024-0565debianlinux+115EPSS score2.00%
An out-of-bounds memory read flaw was found in receive_encrypted_standard in fs/smb/client/smb2ops.c in the SMB Client sub-component in the Linux Kernel. This issue occurs due to integer underflow on the memcpy length, leading to a denial of service.CVE-2024-39884apache software foundationapache http server+11EPSS score0.89%
A regression in the core of Apache HTTP Server 2.4.60 ignores some use of the legacy content-type based configuration of handlers. "AddType" and similar configuration, under some circumstances where files are requested indirectly, result in source code disclosure of local content. For example, PHP scripts may be served instead of interpreted.
Users are recommended to upgrade to version 2.4.61, which fixes this issue.CVE-2024-39689chainguardairflow+139EPSS score1.05%
Certifi is a curated collection of Root Certificates for validating the trustworthiness of SSL certificates while verifying the identity of TLS hosts. Certifi starting in 2021.5.30 and prior to 2024.7.4 recognized root certificates from `GLOBALTRUST`. Certifi 2024.7.04 removes root certificates from `GLOBALTRUST` from the root store. These are in the process of being removed from Mozilla's trust store. `GLOBALTRUST`'s root certificates are being removed pursuant to an investigation which identified "long-running and unresolved compliance issues."CVE-2024-7254chainguardapache-nifi+287EPSS score2.77%
Any project that parses untrusted Protocol Buffers data containing an arbitrary number of nested groups / series of SGROUP tags can corrupted by exceeding the stack limit i.e. StackOverflow. Parsing nested groups as unknown fields with DiscardUnknownFieldsParser or Java Protobuf Lite parser, or against Protobuf map fields, creates unbounded recursions that can be abused by an attacker.CVE-2024-29131apache software foundationapache commons configuration+140EPSS score2.05%
Out-of-bounds Write vulnerability in Apache Commons Configuration. This issue affects Apache Commons Configuration: from 2.0 before 2.10.1.

Apache Tomcat, under certain configurations on any platform, allows an attacker to cause an OutOfMemoryError by abusing the TLS handshake process.CVE-2024-24795apache software foundationapache http server+16EPSS score2.87%
HTTP Response splitting in multiple modules in Apache HTTP Server allows an attacker that can inject malicious response headers into backend applications to cause an HTTP desynchronization attack.
Users are recommended to upgrade to version 2.4.59, which fixes this issue.CVE-2024-28752apache software foundationapache cxf+47EPSS score2.47%
A SSRF vulnerability using the Aegis DataBinding in versions of Apache CXF before 4.0.4, 3.6.3 and 3.5.8 allows an attacker to perform SSRF style attacks on webservices that take at least one parameter of any type. Users of other data bindings (including the default databinding) are not impacted.CVE-2024-28757alpineexpat+39EPSS score2.01%
libexpat through 2.6.1 allows an XML Entity Expansion attack when there is isolated use of external parsers (created via XML_ExternalEntityParserCreate).CVE-2024-49761alpineruby-rexml+121EPSS score1.42%
REXML is an XML toolkit for Ruby. The REXML gem before 3.3.9 has a ReDoS vulnerability when it parses an XML that has many digits between &# and x...; in a hex numeric character reference (&#x...;). This does not happen with Ruby 3.2 or later. Ruby 3.1 is the only affected maintained Ruby. The REXML gem 3.3.9 or later include the patch to fix the vulnerability.
