EPSS score96.96%
Spring Data Commons, versions prior to 1.13 to 1.13.10, 2.0 to 2.0.5, and older unsupported versions, contain a property binder vulnerability caused by improper neutralization of special elements. An unauthenticated remote malicious user (or attacker) can supply specially crafted request parameters against Spring Data REST backed HTTP resources or using Spring Data's projection-based request payload binding hat can lead to a remote code execution attack.CVE-2021-41303apache software foundationapache shiro+4EPSS score76.13%
Apache Shiro before 1.8.0, when using Apache Shiro with Spring Boot, a specially crafted HTTP request may cause an authentication bypass. Users should update to Apache Shiro 1.8.0.CVE-2021-36090apache software foundationapache commons compress+104EPSS score12.95%
When reading a specially crafted ZIP archive, Compress can be made to allocate large amounts of memory that finally leads to an out of memory error even for very small inputs. This could be used to mount a denial of service attack against services that use Compress' zip package.CVE-2021-37714chainguardhadoop-fips-3.3.6+48EPSS score6.69%
jsoup is a Java library for working with HTML. Those using jsoup versions prior to 1.14.2 to parse untrusted HTML or XML may be vulnerable to DOS attacks. If the parser is run on user supplied input, an attacker may supply content that causes the parser to get stuck (loop indefinitely until cancelled), to complete more slowly than usual, or to throw an unexpected exception. This effect may support a denial of service attack. The issue is patched in version 1.14.2. There are a few available workarounds. Users may rate limit input parsing, limit the size of inputs based on system resources, and/or implement thread watchdogs to cap and timeout parse runtimes.CVE-2021-38296apache software foundationapache spark+4EPSS score1.85%
Apache Spark supports end-to-end encryption of RPC connections via "spark.authenticate" and "spark.network.crypto.enabled". In versions 3.1.2 and earlier, it uses a bespoke mutual authentication protocol that allows for full encryption key recovery. After an initial interactive attack, this would allow someone to decrypt plaintext traffic offline. Note that this does not affect security mechanisms controlled by "spark.authenticate.enableSaslEncryption", "spark.io.encryption.enabled", "spark.ssl", "spark.ui.strictTransportSecurity". Update to Apache Spark 3.1.3 or laterCVE-2021-34429debianjetty9+25EPSS score99.30%
For Eclipse Jetty versions 9.4.37-9.4.42, 10.0.1-10.0.5 & 11.0.1-11.0.5, URIs can be crafted using some encoded characters to access the content of the WEB-INF directory and/or bypass some security constraints. This is a variation of the vulnerability reported in CVE-2021-28164/GHSA-v7ff-8wcx-gmc5.CVE-2021-35515apache software foundationapache commons compress+96EPSS score11.57%
When reading a specially crafted 7Z archive, the construction of the list of codecs that decompress an entry can result in an infinite loop. This could be used to mount a denial of service attack against services that use Compress' sevenz package.CVE-2021-35517apache software foundationapache commons compress+97EPSS score10.61%
When reading a specially crafted TAR archive, Compress can be made to allocate large amounts of memory that finally leads to an out of memory error even for very small inputs. This could be used to mount a denial of service attack against services that use Compress' tar package.CVE-2021-35516apache software foundationapache commons compress+94EPSS score12.37%
When reading a specially crafted 7Z archive, Compress can be made to allocate large amounts of memory that finally leads to an out of memory error even for very small inputs. This could be used to mount a denial of service attack against services that use Compress' sevenz package.CVE-2021-23337chainguardairflow-2+230EPSS score21.33%
The fix for CVE-2021-23337 added validation for the variable option in _.template but did not apply the same validation to options.imports key names, and both paths flow into the same Function() constructor sink. When an application passes untrusted input as options.imports key names, an attacker can inject default-parameter expressions that execute arbitrary code at template compilation time. Additionally, _.template uses assignInWith to merge imports, which enumerates inherited properties via for..in, so if Object.prototype has been polluted by another vector the polluted keys are copied into the imports object and passed to Function(). The issue is fixed in 4.18.1 for lodash, lodash-es, lodash-amd, and lodash.template. As a workaround, do not pass untrusted input as key names in options.imports; use only developer-controlled, static key names.CVE-2020-9492apachehadoop+4EPSS score4.44%
In Apache Hadoop 3.2.0 to 3.2.1, 3.0.0-alpha1 to 3.1.3, and 2.0.0-alpha to 2.10.0, WebHDFS client might send SPNEGO authorization header to remote URL without proper verification.CVE-2020-36518chainguardcassandra-reaper+185EPSS score4.86%
jackson-databind before 2.13.0 allows a Java StackOverflow exception and denial of service via a large depth of nested objects.CVE-2020-7712chainguardcode-server+80EPSS score3.11%
This affects the package json before 10.0.0. It is possible to inject arbritary commands using the parseLookup function.CVE-2020-28500debiannode-lodash+25EPSS score7.34%
Lodash versions prior to 4.17.21 are vulnerable to Regular Expression Denial of Service (ReDoS) via the toNumber, trim and trimEnd functions.CVE-2022-25647chainguardeco-java-gradle-3.1+113EPSS score12.23%
The package com.google.code.gson:gson before 2.8.9 are vulnerable to Deserialization of Untrusted Data via the writeReplace() method in internal classes, which may lead to DoS attacks.CVE-2022-22976ubuntulibspring-java+4EPSS score2.34%
Spring Security versions 5.5.x prior to 5.5.7, 5.6.x prior to 5.6.4, and earlier unsupported versions contain an integer overflow vulnerability. When using the BCrypt class with the maximum work factor (31), the encoder does not perform any salt rounds, due to an integer overflow error. The default settings are not affected by this CVE.CVE-2022-22970debianlibspring-java+8EPSS score1.96%
In spring framework versions prior to 5.3.20+ , 5.2.22+ and old unsupported versions, applications that handle file uploads are vulnerable to DoS attack if they rely on data binding to set a MultipartFile or javax.servlet.Part to a field in a model object.CVE-2022-22978ubuntulibspring-java+5EPSS score12.35%
In spring security versions prior to 5.4.11+, 5.5.7+ , 5.6.4+ and older unsupported versions, RegexRequestMatcher can easily be misconfigured to be bypassed on some servlet containers. Applications using RegexRequestMatcher with `.` in the regular expression are possibly vulnerable to an authorization bypass.CVE-2022-22971debianlibspring-java+6EPSS score3.17%
In spring framework versions prior to 5.3.20+ , 5.2.22+ and old unsupported versions, application with a STOMP over WebSocket endpoint is vulnerable to a denial of service attack by an authenticated user.CVE-2022-24823debiannetty+7EPSS score1.04%
Netty is an open-source, asynchronous event-driven network application framework. The package `io.netty:netty-codec-http` prior to version 4.1.77.Final contains an insufficient fix for CVE-2021-21290. When Netty's multipart decoders are used local information disclosure can occur via the local system temporary directory if temporary storing uploads on the disk is enabled. This only impacts applications running on Java version 6 and lower. Additionally, this vulnerability impacts code running on Unix-like systems, and very old versions of Mac OSX and Windows as they all share the system temporary directory between all users. Version 4.1.77.Final contains a patch for this vulnerability. As a workaround, specify one's own `java.io.tmpdir` when starting the JVM or use DefaultHttpDataFactory.setBaseDir(...) to set the directory to something that is only readable by the current user.
