CVE-2026-109448debianpsqlodbc+4
EPSS score0.22%
Integer wraparound in psqlODBC SQLBindParameter allows an application, or an attacker who controls how many parameters the application binds on one statement, to corrupt heap memory. psqlODBC stores the binding count in a signed 16-bit field. Binding parameter number 32768 wraps that count to -32768. Binding parameter 32769 then writes about 2.5 MB of zeros starting 1.25 MB before the binding array, which crashes the application or leaves it running on a corrupted heap. Applications that build parameter lists from untrusted input, such as an IN (?, ?, ...) list, are exposed. Versions before psqlODBC 18.00.0005 are affected.CVE-2018-16850alpinepostgresql+39EPSS score5.15%
postgresql before versions 11.1, 10.6 is vulnerable to a to SQL injection in pg_upgrade and pg_dump via CREATE TRIGGER ... REFERENCING. Using a purpose-crafted trigger definition, an attacker can cause arbitrary SQL statements to run, with superuser privileges.CVE-2018-1053alpinepostgresql+39EPSS score0.48%
In postgresql 9.3.x before 9.3.21, 9.4.x before 9.4.16, 9.5.x before 9.5.11, 9.6.x before 9.6.7 and 10.x before 10.2, pg_upgrade creates file in current working directory containing the output of `pg_dumpall -g` under umask which was in effect when the user invoked pg_upgrade, and not under 0077 which is normally used for other temporary files. This can allow an authenticated attacker to read or modify the one file, which may contain encrypted or unencrypted database passwords. The attack is infeasible if a directory mode blocks the attacker searching the current working directory or if the prevailing umask blocks the attacker opening the file.CVE-2018-1052alpinepostgresql+4EPSS score1.79%
Memory disclosure vulnerability in table partitioning was found in postgresql 10.x before 10.2, allowing an authenticated attacker to read arbitrary bytes of server memory via purpose-crafted insert to a partitioned table.CVE-2018-1115alpinepostgresql+13EPSS score3.83%
postgresql before versions 10.4, 9.6.9 is vulnerable in the adminpack extension, the pg_catalog.pg_logfile_rotate() function doesn't follow the same ACLs than pg_rorate_logfile. If the adminpack is added to a database, an attacker able to connect to it could exploit this to force log rotation.CVE-2018-1058alpinepostgresql+35EPSS score13.10%
A flaw was found in the way Postgresql allowed a user to modify the behavior of a query for other users. An attacker with a user account could use this flaw to execute code with the permissions of superuser in the database. Versions 9.3 through 10 are affected.CVE-2018-10915alpinepostgresql+41EPSS score5.09%
A vulnerability was found in libpq, the default PostgreSQL client library where libpq failed to properly reset its internal state between connections. If an affected version of libpq was used with "host" or "hostaddr" connection parameters from untrusted input, attackers could bypass client-side connection security features, obtain access to higher privileged connections or potentially cause other impact through SQL injection, by causing the PQescape() functions to malfunction. Postgresql versions before 10.5, 9.6.10, 9.5.14, 9.4.19, and 9.3.24 are affected.CVE-2018-10936debianlibpgjava+5EPSS score2.91%
A weakness was found in postgresql-jdbc before version 42.2.5. It was possible to provide an SSL Factory and not check the host name if a host name verifier was not provided to the driver. This could lead to a condition where a man-in-the-middle attacker could masquerade as a trusted server by providing a certificate for the wrong host, as long as it was signed by a trusted CA.CVE-2018-10925alpinepostgresql+8EPSS score2.24%
It was discovered that PostgreSQL versions before 10.5, 9.6.10, 9.5.14, 9.4.19, and 9.3.24 failed to properly check authorization on certain statements involved with "INSERT ... ON CONFLICT DO UPDATE". An attacker with "CREATE TABLE" privileges could exploit this to read arbitrary bytes server memory. If the attacker also had certain "INSERT" and limited "UPDATE" privileges to a particular table, they could exploit this to update other columns in the same table.CVE-2003-0901debianpostgresql+1EPSS score4.75%
Buffer overflow in to_ascii for PostgreSQL 7.2.x, and 7.3.x before 7.3.4, allows remote attackers to execute arbitrary code.CVE-2013-1899canonicalubuntu_linux+1EPSS score54.31%
Argument injection vulnerability in PostgreSQL 9.2.x before 9.2.4, 9.1.x before 9.1.9, and 9.0.x before 9.0.13 allows remote attackers to cause a denial of service (file corruption), and allows remote authenticated users to modify configuration settings and execute arbitrary code, via a connection request using a database name that begins with a "-" (hyphen).CVE-2013-1902postgresqlpostgresqlEPSS score2.21%
PostgreSQL, 9.2.x before 9.2.4, 9.1.x before 9.1.9, 9.0.x before 9.0.13, 8.4.x before 8.4.17, and 8.3.x before 8.3.23 generates insecure temporary files with predictable filenames, which has unspecified impact and attack vectors related to "graphical installers for Linux and Mac OS X."CVE-2013-1900canonicalubuntu_linux+2EPSS score4.51%
PostgreSQL 9.2.x before 9.2.4, 9.1.x before 9.1.9, 9.0.x before 9.0.13, and 8.4.x before 8.4.17, when using OpenSSL, generates insufficiently random numbers, which might allow remote authenticated users to have an unspecified impact via vectors related to the "contrib/pgcrypto functions."CVE-2013-1901canonicalubuntu_linux+1EPSS score3.30%
PostgreSQL 9.2.x before 9.2.4 and 9.1.x before 9.1.9 does not properly check REPLICATION privileges, which allows remote authenticated users to bypass intended backup restrictions by calling the (1) pg_start_backup or (2) pg_stop_backup functions.CVE-2013-1903postgresqlpostgresqlEPSS score2.21%
PostgreSQL, possibly 9.2.x before 9.2.4, 9.1.x before 9.1.9, 9.0.x before 9.0.13, 8.4.x before 8.4.17, and 8.3.x before 8.3.23 incorrectly provides the superuser password to scripts related to "graphical installers for Linux and Mac OS X," which has unspecified impact and attack vectors.CVE-2013-0255debianpostgresql-8.4+1EPSS score3.59%
PostgreSQL 9.2.x before 9.2.3, 9.1.x before 9.1.8, 9.0.x before 9.0.12, 8.4.x before 8.4.16, and 8.3.x before 8.3.23 does not properly declare the enum_recv function in backend/utils/adt/enum.c, which causes it to be invoked with incorrect arguments and allows remote authenticated users to cause a denial of service (server crash) or read sensitive process memory via a crafted SQL command, which triggers an array index error and an out-of-bounds read.CVE-2021-20229alpinepostgresql+8EPSS score1.47%
A flaw was found in PostgreSQL in versions before 13.2. This flaw allows a user with SELECT privilege on one column to craft a special query that returns all columns of the table. The highest threat from this vulnerability is to confidentiality.CVE-2021-43767postgresqlpostgresqlEPSS score0.41%
Odyssey passes to client unencrypted bytes from man-in-the-middle When Odyssey storage is configured to use the PostgreSQL server using 'trust' authentication with a 'clientcert' requirement or to use 'cert' authentication, a man-in-the-middle attacker can inject false responses to the client's first few queries. Despite the use of SSL certificate verification and encryption, Odyssey will pass these results to client as if they originated from valid server. This is similar to CVE-2021-23222 for PostgreSQL.CVE-2021-32029alpinepostgresql+8EPSS score1.50%
A flaw was found in postgresql. Using an UPDATE ... RETURNING command on a purpose-crafted table, an authenticated database user could read arbitrary bytes of server memory. The highest threat from this vulnerability is to data confidentiality.CVE-2021-32028alpinepostgresql+9EPSS score1.56%
A flaw was found in postgresql. Using an INSERT ... ON CONFLICT ... DO UPDATE command on a purpose-crafted table, an authenticated database user could read arbitrary bytes of server memory. The highest threat from this vulnerability is to data confidentiality.
