EPSS score0.36%
RabbitMQ is a messaging and streaming broker. Prior to versions 3.13.15, 4.0.20, 4.1.11, 4.2.6, and 4.3.1, The trace consumer constructs the output path as filename:join(TraceDir, Name ++ ".log") where Name comes from PUT /api/traces/:vhost/:name. No safe_relative_path / traversal check is applied on the write side, while the read side (rabbit_tracing_files.erl) does call rabbit_misc:safe_relative_path/1 , proving the omission is an oversight, not design. The .log suffix is forced and the endpoint requires administrator. A user with the administrator tag can write a .log-suffixed file to an arbitrary filesystem path writable by the rabbitmq user via the tracing plugin's name parameter, e.g. /etc/cron.d/x.log (if writable) or overwrite existing .log files outside the trace directory. Preconditions include rabbitmq_tracing plugin enabled administrator tag Target path writable by rabbitmq OS user. This issue is fixed in versions 3.13.15, 4.0.20, 4.1.11, 4.2.6, and 4.3.1.CVE-2026-67405broadcomrabbitmq_server+3EPSS score0.11%
RabbitMQ is a messaging and streaming broker. Prior to versions 3.13.15, 4.0.20, 4.1.11, 4.2.6, and 4.3.0, Neither the Web-MQTT handler (deps/rabbitmq_web_mqtt/src/rabbit_web_mqtt_handler.erl:104) nor the Web-STOMP handler (deps/rabbitmq_web_stomp/src/rabbit_web_stomp_handler.erl:102) validates the Origin header on the WebSocket upgrade. Under ssl_cert_login=true, the browser presents the client certificate automatically, so an attacker's JavaScript running in the victim's browser can authenticate as the victim. Preconditions include The non-default configuration use_http_auth=true (Web-STOMP) or ssl_cert_login=true (both plugins) must be enabled. The issue is harmless under the default in-band CONNECT credential configuration.. This issue is fixed in versions 3.13.15, 4.0.20, 4.1.11, 4.2.6, and 4.3.0.CVE-2026-67420broadcomrabbitmq_server+3EPSS score0.23%
RabbitMQ is a messaging and streaming broker. From 3.13.0 until 3.13.19, 4.0.24, 4.1.15, 4.2.10, and 4.3.5, RabbitMQ OAuth credential refresh retains revoked runtime tags. when an existing AMQP connection refreshes from an OAuth token that grants the impersonator tag to a valid same-username token that no longer grants that tag, RabbitMQ updates the OAuth backend implementation (token/scopes/expiry) but leaves the connection's runtime #user.tags unchanged. rabbitaccesscontrol:checkuserid/2 then still honors the stale impersonator tag, so the connection (including newly opened channels) can continue publishing messages with a foreign AMQP userid after that privilege should have been revoked. A fresh connection using the downgraded token correctly refuses the same publish, proving the defect is stale session state rather than the token Limited to connections that once held impersonator and successfully refresh to a downgraded same-username rabbitauthbackendoauth2 (or an equivalent refresh-capable backend that returns tags) is enabled for This issue is fixed in versions 3.13.19, 4.0.24, 4.1.15, 4.2.10, and 4.3.5.CVE-2026-67222broadcomrabbitmq_server+3EPSS score0.32%
RabbitMQ is a messaging and streaming broker. From 3.13.0 until 3.13.15, 4.0.20, 4.1.11, and 4.2.6, mechanisms/1 applied list_to_atom/1 to every colon-delimited token in an attacker-controlled auth_mechanism value, permanently consuming Erlang VM atoms and allowing the node to be crashed with a large request. Exploitation requires the Shovel or Federation plugin to be in use, and setting auth_mechanism requires the policymaker tag. This issue is fixed in versions 3.13.15, 4.0.20, 4.1.11, and 4.2.6.CVE-2026-67231broadcomrabbitmq_server+3EPSS score0.23%
RabbitMQ is a messaging and streaming broker. Prior to versions 3.13.15, 4.0.20, 4.1.11, 4.2.6, and 4.3.0, The trust-store plugin installs a verify_fun that overrides {bad_cert, unknown_ca} / {bad_cert, selfsigned_peer} when the presented cert "matches" a whitelisted one. The match key is extract_issuer_id/1 → public_key:pkix_issuer_id/2 → {IssuerName, SerialNumber} , both fields are taken verbatim from the presented certificate body and contain no public-key, SKI, fingerprint or signature material. is_whitelisted/1 is a pure ets:member lookup; the stored full DER is used only for list/0 display and is never compared against the presented cert. cacerts is [], so the whitelisted cert is never used as a trust anchor for path validation either. TLS client-authentication bypass: an attacker who knows the issuer DN + serial of any whitelisted certificate can connect with a forged self-signed cert. Preconditions include rabbitmq_trust_store plugin enabled and used as the TLS verify_fun Attacker knows or can guess the {Issuer, Serial} of at least one whitelisted cert (non-secret; exposed via CLI/logs/any cert copy). This issue is fixed in versions 3.13.15, 4.0.20, 4.1.11, 4.2.6, and 4.3.0.CVE-2026-67421broadcomrabbitmq_server+3EPSS score0.28%
RabbitMQ is a messaging and streaming broker. From 3.13.0 until 3.13.19, 4.0.24, 4.1.15, 4.2.10, and 4.3.5, RabbitMQ Management rendered an AMQP authorization-error reason containing an attacker-controlled queue name as HTML when the OAuth management UI was enabled. Exploitation requires an attacker with queue configure permission, a management administrator who can see but cannot read that queue, and the administrator clicking Get Message(s). A queue name containing a base element can then retarget the automatic relative refresh because the Content Security Policy omits base-uri and connect-src, and an attacker endpoint that permits the management origin through CORS can receive the victim's Authorization header. This issue is fixed in versions 3.13.19, 4.0.24, 4.1.15, 4.2.10, and 4.3.5.CVE-2026-67411broadcomrabbitmq_server+3EPSS score0.32%
RabbitMQ is a messaging and streaming broker. From 3.13.0 until 3.13.18, 4.0.23, 4.1.14, 4.2.9, and 4.3.3, native MQTT and MQTT over WebSocket behind a trusted PROXY Protocol frontend could lose the proxy-derived client address before the MQTT authentication path checked loopback_users, causing the frontend-to-broker address to be treated as loopback. An attacker who can reach the trusted frontend and has valid credentials for a loopback-restricted account can therefore bypass the source-address restriction; the issue does not bypass password authentication. This issue is fixed in versions 3.13.18, 4.0.23, 4.1.14, 4.2.9, and 4.3.3.CVE-2026-67412broadcomrabbitmq_server+3EPSS score0.26%
RabbitMQ is a messaging and streaming broker. From 3.13.0 until 4.3.3, 4.2.9 , 4.1.14, 4.0.24, and 3.13.18, Federation upstream in RabbitMQ skips vhost authorization allowing cross-vhost message access. what the bug lets you do. A policymaker on one vhost reads and drains messages out of another vhost it has no permission on. With the default ack-mode the source messages are consumed (deleted), not copied. Why that should not 1. Federation validates the upstream URI without any vhost-access Cross-vhost message read/drain from a per-vhost policymaker, breaking vhost tenancy This issue is fixed in versions 4.3.3, 4.2.9 , 4.1.14, 4.0.24, and 3.13.18.CVE-2026-67230broadcomrabbitmq_server+3EPSS score0.47%
RabbitMQ is a messaging and streaming broker. From 3.13.0 until 3.13.15, 4.0.20, 4.1.11, and 4.2.6, the Web STOMP WebSocket handler enforced neither max_frame_size nor login_timeout before authentication, allowing an unauthenticated client to keep a connection alive with a slow stream of small frames and accumulate unbounded pre-authentication state. The rabbitmq_web_stomp plugin must be enabled, and no authentication is required to reach the vulnerable path. This issue is fixed in versions 3.13.15, 4.0.20, 4.1.11, and 4.2.6.CVE-2026-67410broadcomrabbitmq_server+3EPSS score0.35%
RabbitMQ is a messaging and streaming broker. From 4.2.0 until 4.3.3 and 4.2.9, OAuth2 Client Secret Exposed via Unauthenticated JavaScript Endpoint (CWE-200). when OAuth2 authentication is enabled for the RabbitMQ Management UI and the configured flow, IDP use a client secret, the oauthclientsecret configuration value is included in the JavaScript served by the unauthenticated endpoint /js/oidc-oauth/bootstrap.js. Any user who can reach the management UI port can retrieve the OAuth2 client secret without Files: deps/rabbitmqmanagement/src/rabbitmgmtwmauth.erl, line 186 deps/rabbitmqmanagement/src/rabbitmgmtoauthbootstrap.erl, lines 35-50 deps/rabbitmqmanagement/src/rabbitmgmtdispatcher.erl, lines 45-49 (route registration) Code Path: 1. The route /js/oidc-oauth/bootstrap.js is registered as a plain Cowboy handler (rabbitmgmtdispatcher.erl:46): Credential exposure for the affected configuration: OAuth2 client secret is accessible without any authentication Token theft: Attacker can complete the authorization code flow using stolen authorization codes Client impersonation: Attacker can make requests. Any RabbitMQ deployment with: This issue is fixed in versions 4.3.3 and 4.2.9.CVE-2026-67219broadcomrabbitmq_server+3EPSS score0.30%
RabbitMQ is a messaging and streaming broker. Prior to versions 3.13.15, 4.0.20, 4.1.11, 4.2.6, and 4.3.0, add_binding/3 parses the routing key as an integer weight N and computes ring positions with lists:seq(NextN0, NextN0 + N - 1). validate_binding/2 only checks N >= 1 , no upper bound. The resulting list is stored in the exchange's Khepri record, replicated cluster-wide, and reloaded on restart. A user with write permission on a consistent-hash exchange and read on a queue can create a binding whose routing key (the hash-ring weight) is an arbitrarily large integer. The broker allocates a list of that many integers via lists:seq/2 and persists it to Khepri across all cluster nodes , a single binding with weight 100000000 allocates ~800 MB on every node and survives restarts. Preconditions include rabbitmq_consistent_hash_exchange plugin enabled write permission on a consistent-hash exchange + read on a queue (standard binding perms). This issue is fixed in versions 3.13.15, 4.0.20, 4.1.11, 4.2.6, and 4.3.0.CVE-2026-67237broadcomrabbitmq_server+3EPSS score0.48%
RabbitMQ is a messaging and streaming broker. From 4.2.0 until 4.2.8 and 4.3.2, set_token_auth/2 inserted a bearer token from the Authorization header or access_token cookie into OAuth bootstrap JavaScript without escaping, allowing attacker-controlled token content to execute JavaScript in the management UI origin. The endpoint is exposed before authentication only when management.oauth_enabled is true, and exploitation through the cookie path additionally requires the attacker to plant an access_token cookie on the management host. This issue is fixed in versions 4.2.8 and 4.3.2.CVE-2026-69219chainguardcassandra-reaper+38EPSS score0.73%
The RabbitMQ Java client library allows Java and JVM-based applications to connect to and interact with RabbitMQ nodes. Prior to 5.33.1, src/main/java/com/rabbitmq/client/impl/ValueReader.java uses ValueReader.readBytes to accept a wire-declared contentLength below Integer.MAX_VALUE and allocate a byte array before checking the bytes available in the frame. A malicious AMQP peer can send a LongString or byte-array field with type tag S and a declared length such as 0x7FFFFFFE during the pre-authentication connection.start server-properties table, causing an approximately 2 GB allocation and OutOfMemoryError before readFully consumes data. The resulting memory exhaustion can terminate the JVM and cause denial of service. This issue is fixed in version 5.33.1.CVE-2026-69220chainguardcassandra-reaper+38EPSS score0.73%
The RabbitMQ Java client library allows Java and JVM-based applications to connect to and interact with RabbitMQ nodes. Prior to 5.33.1, src/main/java/com/rabbitmq/client/impl/ValueReader.java permits ValueReader.readTable and ValueReader.readArray to call ValueReader.readFieldValue recursively for AMQP table type F and AMQP array type A values without a nesting-depth limit. A malicious AMQP server or network intermediary can send approximately 580 nested table levels in the pre-authentication connection.start frame, fitting within the default 131072-byte frame maximum, to trigger StackOverflowError. The error terminates the client input processing thread and causes denial of service. This issue is fixed in version 5.33.1.CVE-2026-44839broadcomrabbitmq_server+3EPSS score0.18%
RabbitMQ is a messaging and streaming broker. From 3.7.0 to before 4.1.2 and 4.0.13, This vulnerability is fixed in 4.1.2 and 4.0.13.CVE-2026-44838broadcomrabbitmq_server+4EPSS score0.20%
RabbitMQ is a messaging and streaming broker. From 4.2.0 to before 4.2.4, RabbitMQ's MQTT plugin allows for topic-level authorization using regular expressions with variable substitution. Administrators can create patterns such as ^{client_id}-sensors$ to restrict user access to topics that include their client ID. However, the client_id is provided by the user in the MQTT CONNECT packet and is inserted into the regex pattern without escaping special regex characters. This flaw enables an authenticated MQTT user to inject regex operators to bypass authorization. This vulnerability is fixed in 4.2.4 and 4.3.0.CVE-2026-75516chainguardcassandra-reaper+36EPSS score0.55%
The RabbitMQ Java client library allows Java and JVM-based applications to connect to and interact with RabbitMQ nodes. Prior to 5.34.0, AMQConnection.start() applies Math.min(maxInboundMessageBodySize, frameMax) after Connection.Tune negotiation even though AMQP defines frameMax value zero as unlimited and ConnectionFactory.DEFAULT_FRAME_MAX is zero. When the client default and server-negotiated value are both zero, the result is passed to Utils.framePayloadLimit(int), which interprets zero as Integer.MAX_VALUE and disables the configured maxInboundMessageBodySize cap. A malicious AMQP server, or a man-in-the-middle attacker able to modify Connection.Tune and inject frames into the connection, can then send an oversized frame of any frame type, causing Frame.readFrom() to allocate a large byte array before content-level validation and potentially terminate the client process through memory exhaustion. This issue is fixed in version 5.34.0.CVE-2026-79921chainguardargo-events+63EPSS score0.55%
amqp091-go is a Go AMQP 0.9.1 client. Before version 1.13.0, a compromised or malicious AMQP broker can force the client to allocate resources for and process content body frames that exceed the negotiated frame_max limit. This can lead to unexpected memory consumption or application-layer denial of service (DoS), bypassing the protocol's built-in framing constraints. Version 1.13.0 contains a fix. No known workarounds are available.CVE-2026-107386chainguardargo-events+47EPSS score0.49%
amqp091-go is a Go AMQP 0.9.1 client. From 1.13.0 until 1.14.0, the frame-size mitigation from the prior allocation advisory can be bypassed before connection.tune completes because Connection.maxFrameSize uses zero for both the not-yet-negotiated and negotiated-unlimited states. A malicious or compromised AMQP peer can send a short body-frame header with a large declared payload length, causing ReadFrame and the body-frame parser to allocate attacker-selected memory before the payload is received or the frame's protocol state is rejected. The condition is reachable through public Open even when Config.FrameSize is set to the protocol minimum and can cause severe memory pressure, out-of-memory termination, or loss of the client process before authentication completes. This issue is fixed in version 1.14.0.CVE-2023-46118debianrabbitmq-server+8EPSS score1.09%
RabbitMQ is a multi-protocol messaging and streaming broker. HTTP API did not enforce an HTTP request body limit, making it vulnerable for denial of service (DoS) attacks with very large messages. An authenticated user with sufficient credentials can publish a very large messages over the HTTP API and cause target node to be terminated by an "out-of-memory killer"-like mechanism. This vulnerability has been patched in versions 3.11.24 and 3.12.7.
