Weaknesses
CWE · root cause- CWE-252Unchecked Return ValueThe product does not check the return value from a method or function.
- CWE-1256Improper Restriction of Software Interfaces to Hardware FeaturesThe product provides software-controllable device functionality for capabilities such as power and clock management, but it does not properly limit functionality that can lead to modification of hardware memory or register bits, or the ability to observe physical side channels.
- CWE-74Improper Neutralization of Special Elements in Output Used by a Downstream ComponentThe product constructs all or part of a command, data structure, or record using externally-influenced input from an upstream component, but it does not neutralize or incorrectly neutralizes special elements that could modify how it is parsed or interpreted when it is sent to a downstream component.
Affected systems
