Description

libheif vulnerabilities It was discovered that libheif incorrectly handled certain crafted HEIF files. An attacker could possibly use this issue to cause a denial of service or execute arbitrary code. (CVE-2026-47178) It was discovered that libheif incorrectly validated offsets when decoding certain crafted HEIF files. An attacker could possibly use this issue to cause a denial of service. This issue only affected Ubuntu 26.04 LTS. (CVE-2026-49271)
