RoutineCVE-2022-31160jquery · jquery-ui +16 morejQuery UI contains potential XSS vulnerability when refreshing a checkboxradio with an HTML-like initial text labeljQuery UI is a curated set of user interface interactions, effects, widgets, and themes built on top of jQuery. Versions prior to 1.13.2 are potentially vulnerable to cross-site scripting. Initializing a checkboxradio widget on an input enclosed within a label makes that parent label contents considered as the input label. Calling `.checkboxradio( "refresh" )` on such a widget and the initial HTML contained encoded HTML entities will make them erroneously get decoded. This can lead to potentially executing JavaScript code. The bug has been patched in jQuery UI 1.13.2. To remediate the issue, someone who can change the initial HTML can wrap all the non-input contents of the `label` in a `span`.CVSS6.1MediumEPSS2.69%RoutineCVE-2021-41184jquery · jquery-ui +33 moreXSS in the `of` option of the `.position()` utiljQuery-UI is the official jQuery user interface library. Prior to version 1.13.0, accepting the value of the `of` option of the `.position()` util from untrusted sources may execute untrusted code. The issue is fixed in jQuery UI 1.13.0. Any string value passed to the `of` option is now treated as a CSS selector. A workaround is to not accept the value of the `of` option from untrusted sources.CVSS6.5MediumEPSS40.77%RoutineCVE-2021-41183jquery · jquery-ui +35 moreXSS in `*Text` options of the Datepicker widgetjQuery-UI is the official jQuery user interface library. Prior to version 1.13.0, accepting the value of various `*Text` options of the Datepicker widget from untrusted sources may execute untrusted code. The issue is fixed in jQuery UI 1.13.0. The values passed to various `*Text` options are now always treated as pure text, not HTML. A workaround is to not accept the value of the `*Text` options from untrusted sources.CVSS6.5MediumEPSS8.53%RoutineCVE-2021-41182jquery · jquery-ui +36 moreXSS in the `altField` option of the Datepicker widgetjQuery-UI is the official jQuery user interface library. The jQuery(strInput) function does not differentiate selectors from HTML in a reliable fashion. In vulnerable versions, jQuery determined whether the input was HTML by looking for the '<' character anywhere in the string, giving attackers more flexibility when attempting to construct a malicious payload. In fixed versions, jQuery only deems the input to be HTML if it explicitly starts with the '<' character, limiting exploitability only to attackers who can control the beginning of a string, which is far less common.CVSS6.1MediumEPSS8.63%RoutineCVE-2014-6071jqueryjquery jqueryjQuery 1.4.2 allows remote attackers to conduct cross-site scripting (XSS) attacks via vectors related to use of the text method inside after.CVSS6.1MediumEPSS2.34%RoutineCVE-2011-4969jquery +5 morejquery jqueryCross-site scripting (XSS) vulnerability in jQuery before 1.6.3, when using location.hash to select elements, allows remote attackers to inject arbitrary web script or HTML via a crafted tag.CVSS4.3MediumEPSS19.19%RoutineCVE-2007-2379jquery +2 morejquery jqueryThe jQuery framework exchanges data using JavaScript Object Notation (JSON) without an associated protection scheme, which allows remote attackers to obtain the data via a web page that retrieves the data through a URL in the SRC attribute of a SCRIPT element and captures the data using other JavaScript code, aka "JavaScript Hijacking."CVSS5.0MediumEPSS2.77%
