CVE-2026-77412debiangolang-github-rabbitmq-amqp091-go+2
EPSS score0.52%
RabbitMQ amqp091-go is a Go AMQP 0.9.1 client. Prior to 1.13.0, readField in read.go reads the length of an AMQP byte-array field with type tag x into a signed int32 and passes the value directly to make when allocating the field buffer. A malicious or compromised broker can encode a value such as 0xFFFFFFFF, which becomes -1 and causes a len out of range runtime panic. The panic escapes the network reader goroutine and terminates the client process, including during connection.start server properties or message header table parsing. This issue is fixed in version 1.13.0.CVE-2026-77408debiangolang-github-rabbitmq-amqp091-go+2EPSS score0.52%
RabbitMQ amqp091-go is a Go AMQP 0.9.1 client. Prior to 1.13.0, the writeShortstr function in write.go casts the byte length of AMQP shortstr property values to uint8 without first rejecting values longer than 255 bytes. An application that accepts an oversized CorrelationId, ReplyTo, MessageId, Expiration, UserId, AppId, ContentType, ContentEncoding, or Type value can therefore serialize a wrapped length and only a truncated prefix, while reporting no error. The resulting silent metadata corruption can break request and reply correlation, routing, tracing, and downstream message processing. This issue is fixed in version 1.13.0.CVE-2026-77406debiangolang-github-rabbitmq-amqp091-go+2EPSS score0.41%
RabbitMQ amqp091-go is a Go AMQP 0.9.1 client. Prior to 1.13.0, Channel.Qos in channel.go accepts negative prefetchCount and prefetchSize integers and casts them directly to uint16 and uint32 fields in the basic.qos method because validateQos is absent. Values such as -1 therefore wrap to 65535 or 4294967295 instead of being rejected. An application that permits untrusted configuration of these Qos values can unintentionally request extremely large prefetch limits, allowing a broker to deliver enough queued messages to exhaust client memory and disrupt processing. This issue is fixed in version 1.13.0.CVE-2026-77409debiangolang-github-rabbitmq-amqp091-go+1EPSS score0.52%
RabbitMQ amqp091-go is a Go AMQP 0.9.1 client. Prior to 1.13.0, Channel.dispatch in channel.go, confirms.confirm in confirms.go, and Connection.dispatch0 in connection.go synchronously send publisher confirmations, flow-control events, consumer cancellations, returned messages, including NotifyConfirm events and connection block notifications, to application-provided channels. If a listener channel is unbuffered, full, or not drained promptly, the sole reader goroutine blocks and stops processing frames, acknowledgments, deliveries, and heartbeats. Broker-driven event bursts can therefore cause connection stalls, missed heartbeats, deadlocks, and disconnection. This issue is fixed in version 1.13.0.CVE-2026-77411debiangolang-github-rabbitmq-amqp091-go+3EPSS score0.52%
RabbitMQ amqp091-go is a Go AMQP 0.9.1 client. Prior to 1.13.0, readLongstr in read.go returns an empty string and a nil error when a declared AMQP longstr length exceeds 0x7FFFFFFF instead of returning ErrSyntax. The function leaves the declared field bytes unread, while readTable treats the operation as successful and continues parsing from the wrong offset. A malicious or compromised broker can provide an oversized longstr in a table field and desynchronize subsequent AMQP parsing, causing attacker-controlled trailing bytes to be interpreted as later fields or frames and disrupting connection integrity and availability. This issue is fixed in version 1.13.0.CVE-2026-66069debianrabbitmq-server+2EPSS score0.40%
RabbitMQ is a messaging and streaming broker. Prior to versions 4.1.13, 4.2.7, and 4.3.0, is_authorized/2 uses is_authorized_monitor for all methods. DELETE resets rabbit_core_metrics:reset_auth_attempt_metrics(). Impact is cosmetic (counters only, no log erasure), but inconsistent with rabbit_mgmt_wm_reset.erl which requires admin for the analogous operation. A monitoring-tagged user can reset the per-node authentication-attempt counters via DELETE /api/auth/attempts/:node, erasing evidence of brute-force activity. The sibling endpoint wm_reset requires administrator. Preconditions include Management plugin enabled monitoring tag. This issue is fixed in versions 4.1.13, 4.2.7, and 4.3.0.CVE-2026-66073broadcomrabbitmq_server+3EPSS score0.41%
RabbitMQ is a messaging and streaming broker. From 3.13.0 until 3.13.15 and 4.0.20 and 4.1.11 and 4.2.6, Atom table exhaustion via management API node field. pUT /api/queues/:vhost/:name (and the exchanges and bindings endpoints) accepts a node JSON field. The value goes through rabbitnodes:make → listtoatom with no cluster membership check first. Each unique value permanently leaks one atom. A March 2026 refactoring (ea61ce2563) introduced safe helpers in rabbitmgmtnodes.erl (parsenodename, safeatom, and requirenodename, using binarytoexistingatom) and fixed several callers (QQ replica ops, wmauthattempts, wmnodememoryets, getsortreverse, and rabbitfederationmgmt), but getnode/1 in rabbitmgmtutil.erl:880-885, the primary vector used by directrequest/6, was not Roughly 900K requests crash the VM via systemlimit, and all tenants lose Any user with the management tag and one vhost, the lowest privilege This issue is fixed in versions 3.13.15 and 4.0.20 and 4.1.11 and 4.2.6.CVE-2026-66068broadcomrabbitmq_server+3EPSS score0.14%
RabbitMQ is a messaging and streaming broker. Prior to versions 3.13.15, 4.0.20, 4.1.11, 4.2.6, and 4.3.0, ?LOG_DEBUG("shutting down Shovel '~ts', ... Shovel state: ~tp", [Name, State]) formats the entire state map. The 'uris' field holds plaintext URIs after credentials_obfuscation:decrypt (called in rabbit_shovel_util:deobfuscated_uris/2). No format_status/1,2 callback exists in rabbit_shovel_worker to redact it. Triggered when an autodelete shovel (src-delete-after = N) completes. With DEBUG logging enabled, autodelete-shovel completion writes the full shovel state map , including decrypted amqp://user:password@host/ URIs , to the broker log file. Preconditions include Shovel plugin enabled with URI-embedded credentials DEBUG log level (non-default) Autodelete shovel configuration Attacker has log read access. This issue is fixed in versions 3.13.15, 4.0.20, 4.1.11, 4.2.6, and 4.3.0.CVE-2026-66078broadcomrabbitmq_server+3EPSS score0.38%
RabbitMQ is a messaging and streaming broker. From 3.13.0 until 3.13.15 and 4.0.20 and 4.1.11 and 4.2.6, protected tag bypass via bulk-delete. dELETE /api/users/:name refuses to delete users tagged protected (rabbitmgmtwmuser:deleteresource/2 checks isprotecteduser). POST /api/users/bulk-delete iterates the supplied username list and calls rabbitauthbackendinternal:deleteuser/2 directly , that function has no protected-tag check , so the guard is silently An administrator can delete protected-tagged service accounts via the bulk endpoint, bypassing a safeguard the test suite confirms is rabbitmqmanagement enabled Attacker has the administrator tag A protected-tagged user. This issue is fixed in versions 3.13.15 and 4.0.20 and 4.1.11 and 4.2.6.CVE-2026-66067debianrabbitmq-server+2EPSS score0.35%
RabbitMQ is a messaging and streaming broker. Prior to versions 4.2.7 and 4.3.1, The stream open handler calls only check_vhost_access; it omits the node/vhost/user connection-limit checks that rabbit_reader performs for AMQP. A developer %% FIXME comment at the cited line explicitly acknowledges the gap. No compensating enforcement exists in connection tracking or elsewhere in rabbitmq_stream. An authenticated tenant can fully bypass operator-configured per-user and per-vhost connection caps by connecting via port 5552 instead of 5672. Preconditions include rabbitmq_stream plugin enabled Authenticated stream-protocol credentials Operator relies on per-user/per-vhost connection limits for tenant isolation. This issue is fixed in versions 4.2.7 and 4.3.1.CVE-2026-66072broadcomrabbitmq_server+3EPSS score0.38%
RabbitMQ is a messaging and streaming broker. Prior to versions 3.13.15, 4.0.20, 4.1.11, 4.2.6, and 4.3.1, get_chunk_selector/1 calls binary_to_atom on the raw client-supplied <<"chunk_selector">> property from post-auth subscribe and resolve_offset_spec frames, with no whitelist and no existing guard. An authenticated stream client with read access to any stream can crash the broker node. Preconditions include rabbitmq_stream plugin enabled Authenticated stream-protocol user with read access to at least one stream. This issue is fixed in versions 3.13.15, 4.0.20, 4.1.11, 4.2.6, and 4.3.1.CVE-2026-66075broadcomrabbitmq_server+3EPSS score0.22%
RabbitMQ is a messaging and streaming broker. Prior to versions 3.13.15, 4.0.20, 4.1.11, 4.2.6, and 4.3.1, is_authorized/2 for the /federation-links/.../restart route uses is_authorized_monitor (accepts the monitoring tag), while allowed_methods permits DELETE and delete_resource/2 triggers rabbit_federation_link_sup:restart. There is no per-method elevation check and no comment marking it intentional. A read-only monitoring user can restart any federation link , a state-changing operation that disrupts message flow. Preconditions include rabbitmq_federation + rabbitmq_federation_management plugins enabled Attacker has credentials with the monitoring tag. This issue is fixed in versions 3.13.15, 4.0.20, 4.1.11, 4.2.6, and 4.3.1.CVE-2026-66080broadcomrabbitmq_server+3EPSS score0.32%
RabbitMQ is a messaging and streaming broker. Prior to versions 4.1.11, 4.2.6, and 4.3.0, validate_partitions only checks that the requested partition count is at least 1, with no upper bound. A large count such as lists:seq(0, 500000000) allocates roughly 8GB. Preconditions include The rabbitmq_stream_management plugin must be enabled. The caller needs the management tag and access to the target vhost.. This issue is fixed in versions 4.1.11, 4.2.6, and 4.3.0.CVE-2026-66077broadcomrabbitmq_server+3EPSS score0.15%
RabbitMQ is a messaging and streaming broker. Prior to versions 3.13.15, 4.0.20, 4.1.11, and 4.2.6, The management UI uses EJS 1.0 in which <%= ... %> does NOT HTML-escape. connection.ejs:135 renders <%= connection.ssl_details.peer_cert_subject %> (and peer_cert_issuer) directly into the page. The same pattern appears in streamConnection.ejs:102,106,110. The values come from rabbit_ssl:peer_cert_subject/1 which formats the DN as a string without HTML escaping. The verifier corrected the original researcher's claim: this is reachable only when the listener is configured with verify_peer (so the certificate must be signed by a CA in the broker's trust store, not arbitrary self-signed); however, in deployments using mTLS for client authentication, any user who can request a certificate from the organisational CA controls the Subject CN. An attacker who can obtain a TLS client certificate signed by a CA the broker trusts (with verify_peer enabled) can embed JavaScript in the certificate's Subject DN. When any administrator views that connection in the management UI, the script executes in the admin's browser session, allowing full account takeover (create users, export definitions, etc.). The management UI's CSP includes 'unsafe-inline', so inline script execution is not blocked. Preconditions include TLS listener configured with ssl_options.verify = verify_peer Attacker can obtain a CA-signed client certificate with attacker-chosen Subject (e.g. self-service corporate PKI, or rabbitmq_trust_store plugin in use) Administrator views the connection detail page. This issue is fixed in versions 3.13.15, 4.0.20, 4.1.11, and 4.2.6.CVE-2026-66076broadcomrabbitmq_server+3EPSS score0.26%
RabbitMQ is a messaging and streaming broker. Prior to versions 3.13.15, 4.0.20, 4.1.11, 4.2.6, and 4.3.0, is_authorized/2 calls rabbit_mgmt_util:is_authorized/2, which checks only the management tag, instead of is_authorized_vhost/2. The /api/queues/quorum/:vhost/:queue/status handler reads the vhost from the path without checking that the user can access it. Any management-tagged user can therefore read Raft status, including leader, members, term, and commit index, for quorum queues in inaccessible vhosts, exposing cross-tenant queue names and cluster topology. The management plugin must be enabled and the attacker must have a management tag. This issue is fixed in versions 3.13.15, 4.0.20, 4.1.11, 4.2.6, and 4.3.0.CVE-2026-66070broadcomrabbitmq_server+3EPSS score0.37%
RabbitMQ is a messaging and streaming broker. Prior to versions 3.13.17, 4.0.22, 4.1.13, and 4.2.6, match_origin/1 returned the bare reflected Origin and allowed credentials even when the wildcard "" was configured, so the response echoed the attacker's origin together with Access-Control-Allow-Credentials. The affected code is rabbit_mgmt_cors.erl. When the management plugin is configured with a wildcard CORS origin (cors_allow_origins = ""), the handler reflects the request Origin back in Access-Control-Allow-Origin and also sends Access-Control-Allow-Credentials: true. A malicious web page that a signed-in administrator visits can then use that administrator's cached HTTP Basic credentials to issue authenticated, state-changing requests to the management API. Preconditions include The management plugin is configured with the wildcard cors_allow_origins = "*", which is an explicit operator misconfiguration A target administrator has a cached HTTP Basic-auth session in the browser. This issue is fixed in versions 3.13.17, 4.0.22, 4.1.13, and 4.2.6.CVE-2026-66074broadcomrabbitmq_server+3EPSS score0.38%
RabbitMQ is a messaging and streaming broker. Prior to versions 3.13.15, 4.0.20, 4.1.11, 4.2.6, and 4.3.0, match_value/3 passes the user-supplied ?name= regular expression to re:run with no match_limit option, and executes it once per resource in the result set. OTP's default 10M match_limit caps each call at roughly 100-200ms, but the regex runs once per resource in the result set. With a large set, for example 5000 queues at 150ms each, a single request consumes 12 or more minutes of CPU. Parallel requests saturate the schedulers. The use_regex=true option is a supported feature on list endpoints, so this path is reachable through normal API use. Preconditions include Any user with the management tag can exploit this.. This issue is fixed in versions 3.13.15, 4.0.20, 4.1.11, 4.2.6, and 4.3.0.CVE-2026-66079broadcomrabbitmq_server+3EPSS score0.32%
RabbitMQ is a messaging and streaming broker. Prior to versions 3.13.15, 4.0.20, 4.1.11, and 4.2.6, parse_array_primitive/2 for constructor 0x45 (list0) returns an element with byte-width B = 0. The enclosing array32 parser at line 148 reads a 4-byte Count from the wire and loops Count times consuming B bytes each , with B = 0, no input is consumed and the loop builds a list of Count empty elements bounded only by the 32-bit field. The SASL-mechanisms / SASL-init frame is parsed by amqp10_framing:decode_bin/1 from rabbit_amqp_reader.erl:412 before authentication completes. The pre-auth incoming_max_frame_size (default 8192 bytes) caps the frame, not the Count field, so a 19-byte payload with Count = 0xFFFFFFFF is accepted. No max_heap_size is set on the reader process. An unauthenticated network attacker can crash any RabbitMQ node that has the AMQP 1.0 listener enabled (default port 5672) by sending a single ~19-byte frame. The reader process attempts to build a list of ~4 billion empty elements, exhausting heap memory and terminating the Erlang VM. All tenants and protocols on the node lose service. Preconditions include Network reachability to the AMQP listener (port 5672, enabled by default) No authentication required. This issue is fixed in versions 3.13.15, 4.0.20, 4.1.11, and 4.2.6.CVE-2026-66071broadcomrabbitmq_server+3EPSS score0.47%
RabbitMQ is a messaging and streaming broker. From 3.13.0 until 3.13.15 and 4.0.22 and 4.1.11 and 4.2.6 and 4.3.1, Atom exhaustion: OAuth2 JWT tag: scope values. extractscopes/1 parses scopes of the form .tag: and calls rabbitdatacoercion:toatom() to convert to a tag atom. The token signature is verified first, so the attacker cannot forge scopes , but in IdP configurations where scope content is user-influenced, each login with a novel tag value leaks one In deployments where users can influence the scopes included in their IdP-issued JWT rabbitmqauthbackendoauth2 enabled IdP permits attacker-influenced scope values in signed tokens. This issue is fixed in versions 3.13.15 and 4.0.22 and 4.1.11 and 4.2.6 and 4.3.1.CVE-2026-106121chainguardapache-nifi-2.11+41EPSS score0.50%
The RabbitMQ Java client library allows Java and JVM-based applications to connect to and interact with RabbitMQ nodes. Prior to 5.37.0, com.rabbitmq.tools.json.JSONReader.read() fails to terminate when input ends inside a quoted string or a line comment because its string and whitespace scanners do not stop at CharacterIterator.DONE. The default DefaultJsonRpcMapper passes JSON-RPC message bodies to this parser for JsonRpcServer and client replies. A truncated string causes the parser to append replacement end markers until heap exhaustion, while a line comment without a terminating newline can keep a thread consuming CPU indefinitely, resulting in denial of service. This issue is fixed in version 5.37.0.
