CVE-2005-0211debiansquid+2
EPSS score22.15%
Buffer overflow in wccp.c in Squid 2.5 before 2.5.STABLE7 allows remote attackers to cause a denial of service and possibly execute arbitrary code via a long WCCP packet, which is processed by a recvfrom function call that uses an incorrect length parameter.CVE-2022-41317alpinesquid+3EPSS score1.78%
An issue was discovered in Squid 4.9 through 4.17 and 5.0.6 through 5.6. Due to inconsistent handling of internal URIs, there can be Exposure of Sensitive Information about clients using the proxy via an HTTPS request to an internal cache manager URL. This is fixed in 5.7.CVE-2022-41318alpinesquid+13EPSS score2.97%
A buffer over-read was discovered in libntlmauth in Squid 2.5 through 5.6. Due to incorrect integer-overflow protection, the SSPI and SMB authentication helpers are vulnerable to reading unintended memory locations. In some configurations, cleartext credentials from these locations are sent to a client. This is fixed in 5.7.CVE-2012-2213squid-cachesquidEPSS score12.18%
Squid 3.1.9 allows remote attackers to bypass the access configuration for the CONNECT method by providing an arbitrary allowed hostname in the Host HTTP header. NOTE: this issue might not be reproducible, because the researcher is unable to provide a squid.conf file for a vulnerable system, and the observed behavior is consistent with a squid.conf file that was (perhaps inadvertently) designed to allow access based on a "req_header Host" acl regex that matches www.uol.com.brCVE-2012-5643debiansquid+3EPSS score23.00%
Multiple memory leaks in tools/cachemgr.cc in cachemgr.cgi in Squid 2.x and 3.x before 3.1.22, 3.2.x before 3.2.4, and 3.3.x before 3.3.0.2 allow remote attackers to cause a denial of service (memory consumption) via (1) invalid Content-Length headers, (2) long POST requests, or (3) crafted authentication credentials.CVE-2011-4096debiansquid3+3EPSS score37.19%
The idnsGrokReply function in Squid before 3.1.16 does not properly free memory, which allows remote attackers to cause a denial of service (daemon abort) via a DNS reply containing a CNAME record that references another CNAME record that contains an empty A record.CVE-2011-3205debiansquid3+3EPSS score27.45%
Buffer overflow in the gopherToHTML function in gopher.cc in the Gopher reply parser in Squid 3.0 before 3.0.STABLE26, 3.1 before 3.1.15, and 3.2 before 3.2.0.11 allows remote Gopher servers to cause a denial of service (memory corruption and daemon restart) or possibly have unspecified other impact via a long line in a response. NOTE: This issue exists because of a CVE-2005-0094 regression.CVE-2010-2951squid-cachesquidEPSS score31.46%
dns_internal.cc in Squid 3.1.6, when IPv6 DNS resolution is not enabled, accesses an invalid socket during an IPv4 TCP DNS query, which allows remote attackers to cause a denial of service (assertion failure and daemon exit) via vectors that trigger an IPv4 DNS response with the TC bit set.CVE-2010-0639debiansquid+1EPSS score31.07%
The htcpHandleTstRequest function in htcp.c in Squid 2.x before 2.6.STABLE24 and 2.7 before 2.7.STABLE8, and htcp.cc in 3.0 before 3.0.STABLE24, allows remote attackers to cause a denial of service (NULL pointer dereference and daemon crash) via crafted packets to the HTCP port.CVE-2010-0308debiansquid+1EPSS score27.82%
lib/rfc1035.c in Squid 2.x, 3.0 through 3.0.STABLE22, and 3.1 through 3.1.0.15 allows remote attackers to cause a denial of service (assertion failure) via a crafted DNS packet that only contains a header.CVE-2010-3072debiansquid3+3EPSS score59.88%
The string-comparison functions in String.cci in Squid 3.x before 3.1.8 and 3.2.x before 3.2.0.2 allow remote attackers to cause a denial of service (NULL pointer dereference and daemon crash) via a crafted request.CVE-2024-25617debiansquid+11EPSS score88.09%
Squid is an open source caching proxy for the Web supporting HTTP, HTTPS, FTP, and more. Due to a Collapse of Data into Unsafe Value bug ,Squid may be vulnerable to a Denial of Service attack against HTTP header parsing. This problem allows a remote client or a remote server to perform Denial of Service when sending oversized headers in HTTP messages. In versions of Squid prior to 6.5 this can be achieved if the request_header_max_size or reply_header_max_size settings are unchanged from the default. In Squid version 6.5 and later, the default setting of these parameters is safe. Squid will emit a critical warning in cache.log if the administrator is setting these parameters to unsafe values. Squid will not at this time prevent these settings from being changed to unsafe values. Users are advised to upgrade to version 6.5. There are no known workarounds for this vulnerability. This issue is also tracked as SQUID-2024:2CVE-2024-25111debiansquid+12EPSS score65.25%
Squid is a web proxy cache. Starting in version 3.5.27 and prior to version 6.8, Squid may be vulnerable to a Denial of Service attack against HTTP Chunked decoder due to an uncontrolled recursion bug. This problem allows a remote attacker to cause Denial of Service when sending a crafted, chunked, encoded HTTP Message. This bug is fixed in Squid version 6.8. In addition, patches addressing this problem for the stable releases can be found in Squid's patch archives. There is no workaround for this issue.CVE-2024-37894debiansquid+14EPSS score6.25%
Squid is a caching proxy for the Web supporting HTTP, HTTPS, FTP, and more. Due to an Out-of-bounds Write error when assigning ESI variables, Squid is susceptible to a Memory Corruption error. This error can lead to a Denial of Service attack.CVE-2024-45802debiansquid+13EPSS score47.88%
Squid is an open source caching proxy for the Web supporting HTTP, HTTPS, FTP, and more. Due to Input Validation, Premature Release of Resource During Expected Lifetime, and Missing Release of Resource after Effective Lifetime bugs, Squid is vulnerable to Denial of Service attacks by a trusted server against all clients using the proxy. This bug is fixed in the default build configuration of Squid version 6.10.CVE-2024-23638debiansquid+3EPSS score60.05%
Squid is a caching proxy for the Web. Due to an expired pointer reference bug, Squid prior to version 6.6 is vulnerable to a Denial of Service attack against Cache Manager error responses. This problem allows a trusted client to perform Denial of Service when generating error pages for Client Manager reports. Squid older than 5.0.5 have not been tested and should be assumed to be vulnerable. All Squid-5.x up to and including 5.9 are vulnerable. All Squid-6.x up to and including 6.5 are vulnerable. This bug is fixed by Squid version 6.6. In addition, patches addressing this problem for the stable releases can be found in Squid's patch archives. As a workaround, prevent access to Cache Manager using Squid's main access control: `http_access deny manager`.CVE-2009-2621squid-cachesquidEPSS score23.05%
Squid 3.0 through 3.0.STABLE16 and 3.1 through 3.1.0.11 does not properly enforce "buffer limits and related bound checks," which allows remote attackers to cause a denial of service via (1) an incomplete request or (2) a request with a large header size, related to (a) HttpMsg.cc and (b) client_side.cc.CVE-2009-2622squid-cachesquidEPSS score56.91%
Squid 3.0 through 3.0.STABLE16 and 3.1 through 3.1.0.11 allows remote attackers to cause a denial of service via malformed requests including (1) "missing or mismatched protocol identifier," (2) missing or negative status value," (3) "missing version," or (4) "missing or invalid status number," related to (a) HttpMsg.cc and (b) HttpReply.cc.CVE-2009-2855debiansquid+1EPSS score34.03%
The strListGetItem function in src/HttpHeaderTools.c in Squid 2.7 allows remote attackers to cause a denial of service via a crafted auth header with certain comma delimiters that trigger an infinite loop of calls to the strcspn function.CVE-2019-13345alpinesquid+16EPSS score74.48%
The cachemgr.cgi web module of Squid through 4.7 has XSS via the user_name or auth parameter.
