CVE-2020-27218apachekafka+24
EPSS score8.28%
In Eclipse Jetty version 9.4.0.RC0 to 9.4.34.v20201102, 10.0.0.alpha0 to 10.0.0.beta2, and 11.0.0.alpha0 to 11.0.0.beta2, if GZIP request body inflation is enabled and requests from different clients are multiplexed onto a single connection, and if an attacker can send a request with a body that is received entirely but not consumed by the application, then a subsequent request on the same connection will see that body prepended to its body. The attacker will not see any data but may inject data into the body of the subsequent request.CVE-2020-5245dropwizarddropwizard_validation+3EPSS score3.01%
Dropwizard-Validation before 1.3.19, and 2.0.2 may allow arbitrary code execution on the host system, with the privileges of the Dropwizard service account, by injecting arbitrary Java Expression Language expressions when using the self-validating feature.
The issue has been fixed in dropwizard-validation 1.3.19 and 2.0.2.CVE-2020-24750chainguardeco-java-gradle-2.10+98EPSS score7.33%
FasterXML jackson-databind 2.x before 2.9.10.6 mishandles the interaction between serialization gadgets and typing, related to com.pastdev.httpcomponents.configuration.JndiConfiguration.CVE-2020-24616chainguardeco-java-gradle-2.10+95EPSS score7.55%
FasterXML jackson-databind 2.x before 2.9.10.6 mishandles the interaction between serialization gadgets and typing, related to br.com.anteros.dbcp.AnterosDBCPDataSource (aka Anteros-DBCP).CVE-2020-28052apachekaraf+28EPSS score7.22%
An issue was discovered in Legion of the Bouncy Castle BC Java 1.65 and 1.66. The OpenBSDBCrypt.checkPassword utility method compared incorrect data when checking the password, allowing incorrect passwords to indicate they were matching with previously hashed ones that were different.CVE-2020-15719debianopenldap+20EPSS score2.51%
libldap in certain third-party OpenLDAP packages has a certificate-validation flaw when the third-party package is asserting RFC6125 support. It considers CN even when there is a non-matching subjectAltName (SAN). This is fixed in, for example, openldap-2.4.46-10.el8 in Red Hat Enterprise Linux.CVE-2020-8174alpinenodejs+11EPSS score7.65%
napi_get_value_string_*() allows various kinds of memory corruption in node < 10.21.0, 12.18.0, and < 14.4.0.CVE-2020-8172alpinenodejs+6EPSS score6.07%
TLS session reuse can lead to host certificate verification bypass in node version < 12.18.0 and < 14.4.0.CVE-2020-8203debiannode-lodash+28EPSS score5.21%
Prototype pollution attack when using _.zipObjectDeep in lodash before 4.17.20.CVE-2020-8277alpinenodejs+21EPSS score54.16%
A Node.js application that allows an attacker to trigger a DNS request for a host of their choice could trigger a Denial of Service in versions < 15.2.1, < 14.15.1, and < 12.19.1 by getting the application to resolve a DNS record with a larger number of responses. This is fixed in 15.2.1, 14.15.1, and 12.19.1.CVE-2020-35490chainguardeco-java-gradle-2.10+95EPSS score6.29%
FasterXML jackson-databind 2.x before 2.9.10.8 mishandles the interaction between serialization gadgets and typing, related to org.apache.commons.dbcp2.datasources.PerUserPoolDataSource.CVE-2020-35728chainguardeco-java-gradle-2.10+110EPSS score12.50%
FasterXML jackson-databind 2.x before 2.9.10.8 mishandles the interaction between serialization gadgets and typing, related to com.oracle.wls.shaded.org.apache.xalan.lib.sql.JNDIConnectionPool (aka embedded Xalan in org.glassfish.web/javax.servlet.jsp.jstl).CVE-2020-35491chainguardeco-java-gradle-2.10+96EPSS score7.75%
FasterXML jackson-databind 2.x before 2.9.10.8 mishandles the interaction between serialization gadgets and typing, related to org.apache.commons.dbcp2.datasources.SharedPoolDataSource.CVE-2017-9287alpineopenldap+24EPSS score7.20%
servers/slapd/back-mdb/search.c in OpenLDAP through 2.4.44 is prone to a double free vulnerability. A user with access to search the directory can crash slapd by issuing a search including the Paged Results control with a page size of 0.CVE-2017-14159alpineopenldap+3EPSS score0.35%
slapd in OpenLDAP 2.4.45 and earlier creates a PID file after dropping privileges to a non-root account, which might allow local users to kill arbitrary processes by leveraging access to this non-root account for PID file modification before a root script executes a "kill `cat /pathname`" command, as demonstrated by openldap-initscript.CVE-2017-17740alpineopenldap+13EPSS score7.02%
contrib/slapd-modules/nops/nops.c in OpenLDAP through 2.4.45, when both the nops module and the memberof overlay are enabled, attempts to free a buffer that was allocated on the stack, which allows remote attackers to cause a denial of service (slapd crash) via a member MODDN operation.CVE-2019-13565alpineopenldap+11EPSS score5.01%
An issue was discovered in OpenLDAP 2.x before 2.4.48. When using SASL authentication and session encryption, and relying on the SASL security layers in slapd access controls, it is possible to obtain access that would otherwise be denied via a simple bind for any identity covered in those ACLs. After the first SASL bind is completed, the sasl_ssf value is retained for all new non-SASL connections. Depending on the ACL configuration, this can affect different types of operations (searches, modifications, etc.). In other words, a successful authorization step completed by one user affects the authorization requirement for a different user.CVE-2019-13057alpineopenldap+11EPSS score3.42%
An issue was discovered in the server in OpenLDAP before 2.4.48. When the server administrator delegates rootDN (database admin) privileges for certain databases but wants to maintain isolation (e.g., for multi-tenant deployments), slapd does not properly stop a rootDN from requesting authorization as an identity from another database during a SASL bind or with a proxyAuthz (RFC 4370) control. (It is not a common configuration to deploy a system where the server administrator and a DB administrator enjoy different levels of trust.)CVE-2019-10086apacheapache commons beanutils+230EPSS score28.38%
In Apache Commons Beanutils 1.9.2, a special BeanIntrospector class was added which allows suppressing the ability for an attacker to access the classloader via the class property available on all Java objects. We, however were not using this by default characteristic of the PropertyUtilsBean.CVE-2019-12399apachekafka+13EPSS score3.91%
When Connect workers in Apache Kafka 2.0.0, 2.0.1, 2.1.0, 2.1.1, 2.2.0, 2.2.1, or 2.3.0 are configured with one or more config providers, and a connector is created/updated on that Connect cluster to use an externalized secret variable in a substring of a connector configuration property value, then any client can issue a request to the same Connect cluster to obtain the connector's task configuration and the response will contain the plaintext secret rather than the externalized secrets variables.
