CVE-2018-16846canonicalubuntu_linux+8
EPSS score2.14%
It was found in Ceph versions before 13.2.4 that authenticated ceph RGW users can cause a denial of service against OMAPs holding bucket indices.CVE-2018-1129cephceph+13EPSS score1.90%
A flaw was found in the way signature calculation was handled by cephx authentication protocol. An attacker having access to ceph cluster network who is able to alter the message payload was able to bypass signature checks done by cephx protocol. Ceph branches master, mimic, luminous and jewel are believed to be vulnerable.CVE-2018-1128debianceph+13EPSS score1.39%
It was found that cephx authentication protocol did not verify ceph clients correctly and was vulnerable to replay attack. Any attacker having access to ceph cluster network who is able to sniff packets on network can use this vulnerability to authenticate with ceph service and perform actions allowed by ceph service. Ceph branches master, mimic, luminous and jewel are believed to be vulnerable.CVE-2018-1059canonicalubuntu_linux+32EPSS score0.85%
The DPDK vhost-user interface does not check to verify that all the requested guest physical range is mapped and contiguous when performing Guest Physical Addresses to Host Virtual Addresses translations. This may lead to a malicious guest exposing vhost-user backend process memory. All versions before 18.02.1 are vulnerable.CVE-2018-19039ubuntugrafana+33EPSS score7.28%
Grafana before 4.6.5 and 5.x before 5.3.3 allows remote authenticated users to read arbitrary files by leveraging Editor or Admin permissions.CVE-2018-14662canonicalubuntu_linux+8EPSS score0.49%
It was found Ceph versions before 13.2.4 that authenticated ceph users with read only permissions could steal dm-crypt encryption keys used in ceph disk encryption.CVE-2018-14649redhatceph_storage+6EPSS score11.96%
It was found that ceph-isci-cli package as shipped by Red Hat Ceph Storage 2 and 3 is using python-werkzeug in debug shell mode. This is done by setting debug=True in file /usr/bin/rbd-target-api provided by ceph-isci-cli package. This allows unauthenticated attackers to access this debug shell and escalate privileges. Once an attacker has successfully connected to this debug shell they will be able to execute arbitrary commands remotely. These commands will run with the same privileges as of user executing the application which is using python-werkzeug with debug shell mode enabled. In - Red Hat Ceph Storage 2 and 3, ceph-isci-cli package runs python-werkzeug library with root level permissions.CVE-2018-10861cephceph+11EPSS score3.18%
A flaw was found in the way ceph mon handles user requests. Any authenticated ceph user having read access to ceph can delete, create ceph storage pools and corrupt snapshot images. Ceph branches master, mimic, luminous and jewel are believed to be affected.CVE-2018-10875alpineansible+15EPSS score0.59%
A flaw was found in ansible. ansible.cfg is read from the current working directory which can be altered to make it point to a plugin or a module path under the control of an attacker, thus allowing the attacker to execute arbitrary code.CVE-2018-15727ubuntugrafana+12EPSS score64.28%
Grafana 2.x, 3.x, and 4.x before 4.6.4 and 5.x before 5.2.3 allows authentication bypass because an attacker can generate a valid "remember me" cookie knowing only a username of an LDAP or OAuth user.CVE-2021-20236debianzeromq3+5EPSS score1.84%
A flaw was found in the ZeroMQ server in versions before 4.3.3. This flaw allows a malicious client to cause a stack buffer overflow on the server by sending crafted topic subscription requests and then unsubscribing. The highest threat from this vulnerability is to confidentiality, integrity, as well as system availability.CVE-2021-20288debianceph+38EPSS score2.13%
An authentication flaw was found in ceph in versions before 14.2.20. When the monitor handles CEPHX_GET_AUTH_SESSION_KEY requests, it doesn't sanitize other_keys, allowing key reuse. An attacker who can request a global_id can exploit the ability of any user to request a global_id previously associated with another user, as ceph does not force the reuse of old keys to generate new ones. The highest threat from this vulnerability is to data confidentiality and integrity as well as system availability.CVE-2021-4048debianlapack+44EPSS score2.76%
An out-of-bounds read flaw was found in the CLARRV, DLARRV, SLARRV, and ZLARRV functions in lapack through version 3.10.0, as also used in OpenBLAS before version 0.3.18. Specially crafted inputs passed to these functions could cause an application using lapack to crash or possibly disclose portions of its memory.CVE-2021-3531debianceph+4EPSS score2.43%
A flaw was found in the Red Hat Ceph Storage RGW in versions before 14.2.21. When processing a GET Request for a swift URL that ends with two slashes it can cause the rgw to crash, resulting in a denial of service. The greatest threat to the system is of availability.CVE-2021-3524debianceph+6EPSS score1.60%
A flaw was found in the Red Hat Ceph Storage RadosGW (Ceph Object Gateway) in versions before 14.2.21. The vulnerability is related to the injection of HTTP headers via a CORS ExposeHeader tag. The newline character in the ExposeHeader tag in the CORS configuration file generates a header injection in the response when the CORS request is made. In addition, the prior bug fix for CVE-2020-10753 did not account for the use of \r as a header separator, thus a new flaw has been created.CVE-2021-3979debianceph+25EPSS score0.56%
A key length flaw was found in Red Hat Ceph Storage. An attacker can exploit the fact that the key length is incorrectly passed in an encryption algorithm to create a non random key, which is weaker and can be exploited for loss of confidentiality and integrity on encrypted disks.CVE-2021-3509debianceph+2EPSS score1.70%
A flaw was found in Red Hat Ceph Storage 4, in the Dashboard component. In response to CVE-2020-27839, the JWT token was moved from localStorage to an httpOnly cookie. However, token cookies are used in the body of the HTTP response for the documentation, which again makes it available to XSS.The greatest threat to the system is for confidentiality, integrity, and availability.CVE-2016-9579debianceph+33EPSS score4.34%
A flaw was found in the way Ceph Object Gateway would process cross-origin HTTP requests if the CORS policy was set to allow origin on a bucket. A remote unauthenticated attacker could use this flaw to cause denial of service by sending a specially-crafted cross-origin HTTP request. Ceph branches 1.3.x and 2.x are affected.CVE-2016-7031ceph_projectceph+20EPSS score1.75%
The RGW code in Ceph before 10.0.1, when authenticated-read ACL is applied to a bucket, allows remote attackers to list the bucket contents via a URL.CVE-2025-13601debianglib2.0+49EPSS score0.32%
A heap-based buffer overflow problem was found in glib through an incorrect calculation of buffer size in the g_escape_uri_string() function. If the string to escape contains a very large number of unacceptable characters (which would need escaping), the calculation of the length of the escaped string could overflow, leading to a potential write off the end of the newly allocated string.
