7.7CVE-2026-14765epic gamesunreal engine
EPSS score
0.39%
Epic Games Unreal Engine versions up to and including 5.8.0 ship with an insecure default configuration for the LaunchURL Blueprint node (UKismetSystemLibrary::LaunchURL). The URL scheme filter (FURLRequestFilter) is empty by default, which permits all URL schemes. On Windows, this results in a call to ShellExecuteW() with the open verb, so a supplied file:/// URI causes the referenced file to be executed. Any Unreal Engine game that loads user-generated content containing Blueprints is vulnerable to command execution via a malicious local file or a remote file on a WebDAV share. This is an instance of CWE-1188 (Initialization of a Resource with an Insecure Default).
8.8CVE-2018-17707epic gamesepic games launcher+1
EPSS score
3.00%
This vulnerability allows remote attackers to execute arbitrary code on vulnerable installations of Epic Games Launcher versions prior to 8.2.2. User interaction is required to exploit this vulnerability in that the target must visit a malicious page or open a malicious file. The specific flaw exists within the handler for the com.epicgames.launcher protocol. A crafted URI with the com.epicgames.launcher protocol can trigger execution of a system call composed from a user-supplied string. An attacker can leverage this vulnerability to execute code in the context of the current user. Was ZDI-CAN-7241.
7.1CVE-2003-1431epic gamesunreal engine
EPSS score
5.24%
Buffer overflow in Epic Games Unreal Engine 226f through 436 allows remote attackers to cause a denial of service (crash) via a long host string in the Unreal URL.
10CVE-2003-1432epic gamesunreal engine+1
EPSS score
7.54%
Epic Games Unreal Engine 226f through 436 allows remote attackers to cause a denial of service (CPU consumption or crash) and possibly execute arbitrary code via (1) a packet with a negative size value, which is treated as a large positive number during memory allocation, or (2) a negative size value in a package file.
5CVE-2003-1430epic gamesunreal engine
EPSS score
2.80%
Directory traversal vulnerability in Unreal Tournament Server 436 and earlier allows remote attackers to access known files via a ".." (dot dot) in an unreal:// URL.
4.3CVE-2003-1433epic gamesunreal engine
EPSS score
1.18%
Epic Games Unreal Engine 226f through 436 does not validate the challenge key, which allows remote attackers to exhaust the player limit by joining the game multiple times.
8.5CVE-2021-47739epic gameseasy anti-cheat
EPSS score
0.18%
Epic Games Easy Anti-Cheat 4.0 contains an unquoted service path vulnerability that allows local non-privileged users to execute arbitrary code with elevated system privileges. Attackers can exploit the service configuration by inserting malicious code in the system root path that would execute with LocalSystem privileges during application startup.
5CVE-2007-4442epic gamesunreal engine
EPSS score
3.84%
Stack-based buffer overflow in the logging function in the Unreal engine, possibly 2003 and 2004, as used in the internal web server, allows remote attackers to cause a denial of service (application crash) via a request for a long .gif filename in the images/ directory, related to conversion from Unicode to ASCII.
5CVE-2007-4443epic gamesunreal engine
EPSS score
1.75%
The UCC dedicated server for the Unreal engine, possibly 2003 and 2004, on Windows allows remote attackers to cause a denial of service (continuous beep and server slowdown) via a string containing many 0x07 characters in (1) a request to the images/ directory, (2) the Content-Type field, (3) a HEAD request, and possibly other unspecified vectors.
8.8CVE-2025-61973epic gamesepic games store
EPSS score
0.16%
A local privilege escalation vulnerability exists during the installation of Epic Games Store via the Microsoft Store. A low-privilege user can replace a DLL file during the installation process, which may result in unintended elevation of privileges.
4.5CVE-2025-0567epic gameslauncher
EPSS score
0.20%
A vulnerability classified as problematic was found in Epic Games Launcher up to 17.2.1. This vulnerability affects unknown code in the library profapi.dll of the component Installer. The manipulation leads to untrusted search path. Attacking locally is a requirement. The complexity of an attack is rather high. The exploitation appears to be difficult.
7.8CVE-2008-4243epic_gamesunreal_tournament_3
EPSS score
3.70%
Directory traversal vulnerability in ImageServer (aka UTImageServer) in WebAdmin before 1.7 for Epic Games Unreal Tournament 3 (UT3) 1.3 allows remote attackers to read arbitrary files via a .. (dot dot) in the URI.
4CVE-2008-7011epic_gamesunreal_tournament+1
EPSS score
2.17%
The Unreal engine, as used in Unreal Tournament 3 1.3, Unreal Tournament 2003 and 2004, Dead Man's Hand, Pariah, WarPath, Postal2, and Shadow Ops, allows remote authenticated users to cause a denial of service (server exit) via multiple file downloads from the server, which triggers an assertion failure when the Closing flag in UnChan.cpp is set.
5CVE-2008-7015epic_gamesunreal_tournament+1
EPSS score
2.77%
Unreal engine 3, as used in Unreal Tournament 3 1.3, Frontlines: Fuel of War 1.1.1, and other products, allows remote attackers to cause a denial of service (server exit) via a packet with a large length value that triggers a memory allocation failure.
5CVE-2008-3396epic_gamesunreal_tournament_2004
EPSS score
7.71%
Unreal Tournament 2004 (UT2004) 3369 and earlier allows remote attackers to cause a denial of service (NULL pointer dereference and daemon crash) via a certain sequence of malformed packets.
7.5CVE-2008-3409epic_gamesunreal_tournament_3
EPSS score
11.02%
Buffer overflow in Unreal Tournament 3 1.3beta4 and earlier allows remote attackers to cause a denial of service (memory corruption and daemon crash) or possibly execute arbitrary code via a UDP packet containing a large value in a certain size field, followed by a data string of that size, aka attack 1 in ut3mendo.c.
5CVE-2008-3410epic_gamesunreal_tournament_3
EPSS score
